In the rain

Its been going on ages, probably since getting the bike..

but when its raining and I'm stopped in traffic etc I get a lot of smoke or steam coming up through the handle bars.I'm assumimg cause the pipes or somthin else is hot

anyone else find this

im pretty sure its just the rain falling on your headers. you'll notice it if you wash your bike just after a ride

If it doesn't have a sweet smell (anti-freeze) it's probably water kicked up into the radiator/headers and turning to condensation.

I believe my fender extender would ( will since you have ordered one ) help somewhat with that issue as less water would be sprayed from the front tire into the rad area and also less in on the pipes too.

I get that too. The worst part is that it fogs up my visor, so that I'm forced to crack it open which now means that I get rain on the inside.
