Winter is coming...any sign of you making something for the rear wheel.Had a look at the skidmarx hugger and i dont think its going to be of much use, it does'nt come over the rear tyre enough imo.

I do have something in mind for the rear. A sort of enhancement of the rear fender etc.
A winter project.

Stay tuned.

Well, after being away for our summer travels we are home again. Did over 4500 miles and had lots of fun.

Back to work now and have also bought plastic and molded a dozen fender extenders. So here they sit, waiting for a new home on your bike

Larry.

All Riders note - Larry's product is spot on product to rectify what the brilliant designers of this bike overlooked. I had this extender in my workshop waiting for the bike, and on my first ride home, I could not avoid riding over a road surface being prepared for asphalt layer; you know they spray this black shit all over, well my beautiful clean new radiator got a fat black stripe right up the middle where the tire would throw it doncha know. And it's there forever. Can't use heavy solvents around all that ABS plastic, unless someone can suggest a way to clean it, my skunk stripe.
The extender fit right, bonded tight, now we need a design for the rear wheel like the BMW GS1200. Waitin on you Ol Blue :)
Thanks for the good product.

ordinary white spirit will shift it and does not affect plastic.

Got my buddies Concours into my garage this evening so game on for the rear fender.

Will see what I can come up with for an enhancement to the rear fender.

Should be better than a hugger if it works out.

Larry.

Will do Don, hope I am able to post pictures directly off my computer when the time comes. I have had issues with that before and don't quite get why. Especially when it says a certain size file is acceptable then rejects it ???

I had photobucket pictures posted ,then of course if you don't use an account there it expires. All of it is a royal pain in the rear. I prefer to be able to post pictures as I mentioned above which you can on most of these forums.

I'm a ways off, just starting. I expect to have some issues as I tackle the design process, but an enhancement to the rear fender is what I have in mind.

Just to be clear I'm not gonna do a modified hugger, I don't believe they actually do much.

When winter comes here riding is done. Like now ! I rode to work on Friday and Saturday morning I was shoveling the driveway. End of season ! (Nov 20th is a long extended end to the riding season here )

I just bought a 2010 GTR1400, was browsing for a fender extender, found your website and would like to order one of yours. How much money and how do I order one?

Hey Larry

Received your fender extender sooner than I even thought, installed it per your instructions and wanted to let you know it turned out better than I expected. The fit and finish was fantastic. I can't wait for your rear fender extender project...... keep me posted. Thank you.....job well done!

Good to hear Paul ,

The rear is finished, it turned out pretty nice I think. I won't be able to post pictures here, even though it says I can and the pictures I try to post are the right size and format still no dice

So anyway I will let everyone know when I release details and pictures will be on the ZGR Fanatics website. I'll post a link. Gonna sit on this for a little until I finish a project I have on the go.
