The color of the 2009 1400GTR is an old color and the consumer in Japan doesn't have the choices.

I hope that Kawasaki sells the 1400GTR (Japanese model).

On the sportier side of Sports-Touring it looks like the GTR is about to get some competition. Looks like Honda is going to announce the new V5 VFR1000 in October.
150+Bhp and there is a GT option with sidebags and an electric screen.

Kawasaki Motors Corp, USA announced information on the 2009 CONCOURS14.

Though the color of the specifications is “Neutron Silver”,
the color options are not “Neutron Silver” but are the “Candy Diamond Red” and “Metallic Diablo Black”.

Maybe, the 2010 1400GTR of Japan will become red.

are there any changes at all to the new model ?

I wish they made blue, the funny thing is exactly 15 years ago when I was a youngster of 23, I took my first 2 month road trip counter-clockwise around the U.S. - on the exact same burgandy color ZX-11 - all my friends thought I was crazy.. and it was, after about 3000 miles I had to get heli bars..

I've been jonesing to go on another trip since then, and now I finally have the financial freedom to do so, and this model came along at just the right time...almost like destiny I would ride the kawi again (I was going with the FJR but then this bike just stole my heart and soul)... should I go with the same color reminiscent of my first trip ??? damn.

Just wanted to drop in and say hello....

Just got a (new to me) 2008 C14. Had two 1998 Windsor green Concours before - racked up about 155,000 miles between the two! I like the C14 but she is such a departure from my tried and true 98's - not sure how to handle her yet! Lots of power - lots of opportunity to get into troubel with speed.

Anyway, wanted to join up to talk turkey - mods and farkles - so far I have XM and am interested in the Rostra cruise control. Anyone had any experience with how it is and how it installs?

Also, always looking to go for rides .......love being out.....planning on doing another Iron Butt this summer - Iron Butt Bunburner 1500 Gold I think.

Anyone have any problems with 2bros, power comm, and k&n? I had all installed and the bike stalls while riding and cant get it started right away sometimes. Its a 2009 concours only 150 miles
