Cool 4th exhaust leak fixed, then dropped it

Well, at 21000kms the dealer has had 3 previous attempts at fixing the header nuts and last week Kawasaki decided to fit a new header pipe/cat system, as well as renewing the header and mid-pipe gaskets... seems to be ok now, I sure hope it's stopped...
But... as the title implies, there's more....

A nice winters Saturday downunder, a few clouds and around 18C... lets ride...

I wheel it backwards out of the garage, normally quite easy...

Ready to take off, go to wheel it backwards a bit to make the driveway and OVER she goes straight into the Hyundai on it's right side!!!

As I'm a 5'6", 75kg weakling I call out to my hefty neighbor just over the fence and he helps me pick it up... luckily I came off lightly, the master cylinder taking the paint off the car, and pushing the right pannier off it's lower mount...

So, after a few words I was OK, no panel damage, wow!

Off to a nice ride... and no exhaust fumes,

so here's some nicer shots of todays little ride...

Hopefully with the smelly leaks behind me I might actually get some trips in without getting sick!!

Hi Chez! yeah, silly of me, but I've always called that ride "somewhere near Hilltop" but it seems a bit obvious where I was doesn't it

Yeah, I know you're a local, lovely area too!!, getting a bit cool now for long rides, my metal plates go all funny in this weather!!
just speaking to my gf down in Canberra tonight and they're expecting a min of 0 and max of 0 tomorrow, wow, makes Sydney look warm with 13C max

I've removed the Heli-risers and refitted the CB/euro-cut and I don't seem to be getting any more (or less) numb fingers but it's better coverage back to low bars, I think I'll leave it that way for a while.

Looking forward to a few miles after a few hours at work this Saturday, dunno where, maybe a quick Putty Rd (Halfway coffee) and back?

Boy, That was lucky Pete. Guess you can thank the Hyundai for saving the GTR.
Does this all mean that you are now keeping the bike?

Hitman.... to keep or not to keep...

Yeah, I think I'll hang on to it for a while; I will hope to gain confidence with some nice long rides; as we all know the GTR has some wonderful riding attributes, it's been a tough time having so much fun riding it but also having that damn leak on virtually every trip.
There's actually nothing out there in road/touring bikes that I really like at the moment, so I'll wear out some more tyres and avoid some more cops for a while yet.
