3,000 miles in 10 days. Report

Juts got back from round Europe trip. 3,000m in 10 days.
Wales, England, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Austria, Holland, Belgium, England, Wales.
Bike performed faultlessly. 600 miles on clock at start (after 1st service), now over 3,600.
Fuel averaged 45mpg which included some 100+ MPH stints.
Had 4 days of torrential rain. Side cases absolutely watertight.
Cee Baileys euro cut screen keeps most weather off but does direct rain directly onto gloves. I think it needs to be wider at the base. Hand guards may be an alternative option.
In hot weather, in traffic, engine blows hot air on legs which can get uncomfortable but it is bearable.
Intaride intercom wouldnt Bluetooth to TomTom GPS and hard wire would work through Nokia phone or MP3.
Oxford heated grip control push button knob thing fooked up too.
All Kwak bits worked without probs. Dealer hasnt yet got case locks in so I left cases on bike and ran strap through handles.
I just wanted to share.

Nice James. Looks like a great trip. Get a few photos on here soon....Love those trips..........
My trip to the Dolomites is coming up late August. Bet it will be bloody hot though. Might put the small screen back on as I am riding over to Dusseldorf and overnight training down to Bolzano to save the endless bash down through France, Switzerland etc. Like to keep off the autobahns as well and will spend most of the 10days on the mountain twisties.
