Thumbs up Grip Puppies!

I ordered some grip puppies and finally got around to installing them yesterday. This is by far the best farkel I’ve made to the C14 to date. You just can’t go wrong for $8.20.

The installation was a snap.
1. Cut about ½ inch off each Grip puppie with a pair of scissors (just hold em up to the grips and eyeball it) .
2. Clean the grips with soap and water
3. Wet the grips down, wet the inside of the grip puppies down, one drop of dishwashing detergent smeared around the inside of the grip puppies and they slip right on.

I like the feel of the grips with the puppies much better. It’s too hot to ride in traffic with gloves here in south Texas. I have some half gloves. But riding every day tends to make for some funny looking tan lines. On longer trips I do ware gloves.

Here's where to find Grip Puppies:

CALIFORNIA SPORT TOURING, INC
Small Grip Puppies

GPSMALL Grip Puppies ™- Small.
For bikes with 1.25" to 1.45" diameter grips.

$8.20

I fitted mine months ago. Yes they are rather good.
I fitted mine because I have big hands and the stock grips were so small they were giving me cramps. They are comfier too and eliminate almost all of what little buzz the C14 has.

Another good grip is the ribbed BMW Sport grips.. BMW part #32721458395/6 (l/r)). They are a tapering ribbed grip, fatter at the bar ends, I find them very comfortable compared to the stock grips... but they are more than the grip puppies.. about 20 bucks US funds... At your Beemer dealer.

I too fell the stock grip diameter is too small and causes some pain in my hands. I ride a ST1300 at the duty bike and have no pain at all on that bike working 11 hou shifts. These should solve the issue on my GTR. Thanks for posting...never heard of these before.
