Naked GTR1400

I just read in Australian Motor Cycle News of a naked GTR1400 in the pipeline? Anyone heard of this? They have a computer generated picture of an orange motorcycle with panier saddle bags and shaft drive and bikini fairing.

Hey Chez, think this is going up against the B-King? For some reason I cant ever seem to take my eyes off of that bike when I visit the dealer..

The Z1400 isn't news and that Photoshop image has been around for a while.
Kawasaki announced last year that they were considering a Z1400 along the lines of the Z1000 but using the ZX1400/ZZR1400 motor.
The image was created for the UK rag MotorCycleNews.

There was a rumour that the Z1400 might appear before Tokyo Motor Show 2007.
It is said that the plan was rejected at the end of 2005 according to the motorcycle magazine.

In the near future, will the ZRX1400R appear in the Kawasaki booth?

No No you guys are missing the point. This is a shaft drive GTR without the bodywork, not a z1400!!!!!

I hope Kawasaki manufactures a naked motorcycle that is more attractive than this (p.2 & p.3).
