nice to see not as many bashers and insulters here (put nicely). hope it stays this way.

i'm looking for a competent mechanic here in upstate ny to go over my concours14, any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum !

I used to live in Upstate NY.....Flint, NY to be exact.....the Fingerlake Region....halfway between Canadaigua and Geneva to be exact. Flint had a population of about 70 people at the time (1970's).

I'll be back there on vacation around mid-July.

I miss the area quite a bit. But not shoveling snow. I am in California now and it was 106.8 degrees today.....to hot to ride for me......at least at mid-day.

thanks for the replies all. what a relief, i thought i was all alone up here. now that i think more about it and look at the map, maybe i'm not sooo upstate. we used to call this upstate when we were kids living in westchester.

Bikelee, it would really ease my mind if someone knowledgable could have a look. I'm a 1/2hr. from albany. Yeh, lets get together, I'll treat you to lunch and a beverage.. I've added you to my private messages list. lets exchange phone numbers...

would still like to hear from others in the albany area (north, south, east, or west) in regards to finding a knowledgeable bike person to have a look at my concours14.

anyone have an opinion about Ronnie's Cycle in Benington Vermont?

dealer folks sure have let me down so far..
