Quick question. On ordering my GTR, I had a Meta alarm fitted. Did I need to this? I obviously have the benefit of the KIPASS system and it may have improved my insurance a little but it would be nice not to have to carry and use the alarm fob.....
The only reason someone would pinch one of these is to scrap it for spare parts.
To replace the KIPASS system and make the bike rideable again would be over £2500. and no doubt Kawasaki would want to know why.
This isn't an opportunist thief's bike of choice and certainly isn't the sort of bike you would pick up and chuck in the back of a van, so I opted to rely on the KIPASS and size of the bike to deter any would be robber.
