No, this functionality is part of the site itself and the browser is merely interpreting the code. I don't believe that we can do anything except approach the site administrator and convince them to disable it and recover the revenue from other sources.

the firefox seems to speed up the loading but i two still see the green links,now do we bomb bard the administrator and fill his pm box till there gone, or just hope he doesnt turn a blind eye toward thread ?

John, in a nutshell, it lets you control the behavior of tabs. Among other things, it changes the color of view/unviewed tabs making it easy to see which tabs have been viewed. It lets you change the order in which you switch among tabs with (remember what tabs you've switched from instead of just going in order l-r). It does some other things too which I can't recall :)
Oh, it lets you unclose closed tabs, and also has a recovery manager - if FF crashes, it remembers what tabs you had open.

I see no slow down in FF with this and several other extensions installed . Perhaps its time for a faster pc?
I hear FF 3ß has really improved upon the performance and memory usage. Supposed to be going RC soon. Can't wait.

Thanks, found it on their forum from the other link. Apparently I'm not the only one. SOOOOOOOoooooooooo much faster now without the add on.
