Hello all, my name is Stephanie and I am 33 years young tomorrow. I work in the industry and love to ride. At this time I am just a passenger, however I have been kicking around the idea of getting my license and my own bike.
I love to live life to it's fullest, laugh and just plain have a good time.
I mostly come on the forums during the day as it is part of my job, however I do try to get online at night also. It just depends on how busy life gets.
I love to meet new people. I look forward to meeting you all.
Ride Safe,
Stephanie

new to forum
Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I ride a 2008' ZX14, with twin brothers exhaust, and fender eliminator kit so far. I plan on doing alot more over this winter.
I've been dragracing my 83' montecarlo prostreet for numerous years now, and used to grassdrag my vmax sled until a small mishap. I want to start dragracing my ZX14 in 09'. Start preparing. I live in upstate NY. I have a son, and when he gets old enough I will get him into racing also. I will get a picture up ASAP. Ride Safe. Safety First.

Hi, with a 748 and a Superhawk, I usually stay on the Ducati and Superhawk forums. But when I heard about the epic thread about the drilled ECU on a gun forum, I just had to come over.
Ride safe, keep the rubber side down.
Ride like you are invisible, because to them, you are.
I really like this crazy loco guy

Advice
Hello fellow riders, I am a Newbe to this forum and Sport bikes. I now ride a 2000 Honda Magna VF750C (forward controls 82 hp). I am bored with it, can't corner without grinding off foot brds and doesn't have the balls I like. I am considering buying a Kawasaki ZX-14. Other choice would be a Honda VFR Interceptor. I know the Kawi and Honda are two different bikes, but they both have qualities I am looking for. The questions I have are, Will the Kawi be hard on my lower back? Will I get bored with the Interceptor? I know the Kawi is much more HP (180 vs 110?) and the Ergonomics of the Interceptor is nice. Also being new to the big Sport Bike will mean re-teaching my riding all over, Throttle control and cornering. Considering My Magna has no need for throttle control (wide open haha) and it doesn't corner very good (My inexperience in cornering speeds Needs adressed) any advice would be helpful. Thanks and looking to become a better rider, Eric

Newbie ! ! ! !
Hi all, I'm from Ashford in Kent, UK and have recently acquired a 95 ZX6R to run around town on as the other 'beast' a VN1500 is too heavy and thirsty. Seems like the previous owner has used it for 'track days' and is in need of some TLC,am sure to be back soon.

Hello ZX Forums,
I am new the the ZX family--- just purchased a 1995 ZX11 D3. I previously had a GSXR-750 and Ducati 916. This ZX11 is an awesome bike--thanks to the entire forum for supplying good material on the engine/components.
I am really enjoying the bike, though I do have a couple questions:
1. the engine was rebuilt due to a thrown #3 rod. It has a new block, pistons, cylinderhead, fuel and water pump, new seals, good chain/sprockets, and cast iron brakes / 6 piston nissin calipers (I don't know what this is).
The mechanic told me the bike is solid mechanically, but he said a previous shop drilled holes in the carbs to improve airflow / hp. The result is an idle that goes up/down--up/down like the waves of an ocean. Should I be concerned about this? If the idle goes too low, does that mean oil is not circulating well? It usually idles at 1000 rpm, but at a stoplight the other night it was swinging from 1700 down to 400. at the low point, I would blip the throtte. Does this make any of the heavyweights/experts here nervous?
should I be looking for a new set of carbs? Mechanically, I am a real idiot, but willing to learn.
2. The inside of the gas tank appears to have small diamond-like indentations, like speckles all over. does not look like rust, but I don't know what I'm looking at.
The bike has dual carbon fiber Vance&Hines exhaust and a chameleon paint job (black/purple/copper/blue). Cool paint job, but touching up any nicks is impossible (I think).
I need to winterize this pretty quickly, and will poke around the site to learn how to do this Right. I hope to ride this baby for a long time.
Thanks to any expert advice in advance, and Happy Riding~!

just spied this thread, sorry chaps/ladies.
name's Anthony, live in Kent 'the garden of england' in the UK. did ride a ZX6D until a lady pulled out on me and stopped the bike via means other than the brakes...
Started out on an MZ125 Saxon streetfighter, took my test 3 years ago, got a ZZR250 (ninja250), then got the 600. Now in the market for a zx636r from 2003-2005 hence my other thread.
See ya around!

Hi huys & girls. My name's Alex and I'm based in Hampshire, UK.
I've owed a couple of Kwaks. First a 2005 636. Best bike I've ever owned. Traded that in the the 2007 ZX10R. Wished a had kept other 636 as well as having the ten.
