Hey guys, my name is Ian (aka: Swoosh) from Ontario Canada.
My first bike was an 86 Interceptor 500, and wrote it off at 95mph on a highway due to a tractor trailer dumping a 4X4 post 8 1/2' long across my lane.
Next was an 87 Yami FZ750.
Then I moved on to a 00' ZX7R which I spent some time tricking out and adding anything that I could to it. Now I bleed green.
Finally got too comfortable on it, and decided that I needed a litre bike. I am currently awaiting the arrival of my new baby..... My 06' ZX10R shows up this Friday in traditional Kawi Green, and I can barely sleep.
Pics of my ZX7R can be seen at:
http://www.geocities.com/motorcity/3993/ZX7R.html
Glad to have a place to hang with brethren of the ZXChurch.

Hello! My name is Harrison and I've been an alcoholic for about 15 years.... oh, wait... wrong forum!
I currently live in Phoenix but will be moving back east...SOMEWHERE in October. I'm a flight attendant and LUV to ride. I just recently bought a ZX-14 and aside from the fact that I LOVE THIS BIKE, I have a very healthy respect for its power. The bike I traded for it was a 2005 Goldwing. After my divorce, I decided that I didn't need a 2-up machine w/ intercoms, etc. I wanted a bike that was a wee bit more aggressive... well, I guess I got that in the 14!!! I am still in the break-in portion (which I'm now convinced is more for the owner than the bike). I can't wait to take it up to the mountains for a REAL test ride!
My previous bikes:
81-83: Kawasaki KZ-550 (Approx 26,000 mi)
84-88: Kawasaki 600R Ninja (In Germany! 38,000mi)
17 year haiatus
05-06: Honda GL1800 Goldwing (12,500mi)
06-??: Kawasaki ZX-14 Ninja (570 mi)
And My Previous Bike... and EX! At the Dam overlook at the Dragon.

Nothing like a 6 month gap between posts, hehe. Well, my name is Chris and I've got a black 2006 ZX-6R. I received it as a birthday present from my wife. Didn't even know it was coming. Gotta love her. I've been riding since Oct after about a 10 year break. Getting back into the swing of things and loving it.

Hey Ninjaman.... Glad you could finally make the leap to the forum.
I have 4 questions:
1) What colour 10R are you getting (don't say green)
2) Are you sure the Mrs. will let you get one?
3) Will she be able to stay on the back?
4) Where are you buying it.... I'm a huge advocate of Bulldog Powersports at the moment, so we should talk.
...and oh yeah, we won't make any "penny pinching" jokes here like some sites. LOL

Hey Swoosh
Answers :
1) Bought a Black one today
2) your kidding, lots of other women out there LOL
3) I dont ride too wild, so she shouldn't have any problems
4) I have been in negotiations with Bulldog for a couple of weeks, Marie and Bill
have been fair, and honest with the Reservoir Dogs...so I decided to get it there

Happy for you NINJAMAN. I'm sure you'll love the 10, and true enough about Bulldog, I would recommend anyone go see them. Great people to deal with.
...btw, I love the new necklace. bwahaha

Hey there all you guys and gals. I am Kenneth ( whokilledkenny). I am from sunny South Africa. I stumbled onto this forum and hell am i glad. There are no forums for us Kwak riders out there. I am into all sorts of things but mostly my bike (2005 ZX6R), cars and mates. I wish i was in the USA so i could get all the cool stuff for the bike that you guys get for such great prices. Hope to speak to all of you soon.
