Hey everyone, I'm a first time bike owner. My name's Jeff and I currently reside in Naples, FL as a parts manager at an independent BMW and Mercedes-Benz specialist shop. I also drive a Nissan 240SX and have done all the work to it myself. I'm picking up a 1996 Kawasaki Ninja 600cc with 14K on the odometer in about 2 weeks. I'm no newbie to forums, so I'm not looking to get flamed. haha. I already have full gear and not really the stunt bike kind of guy. Once I get the bike, I'll be sure to post up pics! I'm gonna check out the forums and find some first-timer advice. Can't wait to start riding!

new here
my name is ryo, i recently got a zx6r and love it. i am new to street riding but have ridden dirtbikes for years, i just love riding bikes. my bike is a 98 zx6r with the 00-02 body/(07zzr). it is just about stock accept for an upper tripple clamp, smoked windscreen, and the previous owner said something about removing the emissions stuff, and somethig about the exhaust. i also just got some smoked/flushmount signals for the front since it didnt come with any front signals.

Hey folks--Well, I'm currently a 'busa owner here thinking about trading for the 14. Currently I have an '08 orange/black 'busa and I'm talking with my dealer about trading for an '09 orange/black 14. I love the 'busa, but it's my second one so I"m thinking I just might need a change. Plus--being 6'5" tall, I'm thinking the 14 might give me more touring room. Well, if the deal comes through, I'll post some pics---meanwhile--I'm reading all your old posts to learn more about 14. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions! THANKS!

Hey all, new to the forums (and to street riding). Have been researching the last two months into bikes, gear, mods ect. Been in love with the whole ninja line since I first saw them in the showroom so i figured I'd join the community that likes the same style of motorcycle and hope to learn a thing or two.
Current order of operations is 1) take MSF course and get an M Class.
2) save money to get a Ninja 250r or 650r by next season (most likely used, local market permitting)
3) RE learn to ride (used to ride a 1979.5 Honda CT90)
4) ???
5) Profit!

Hy guys I'm new to the forum and to my 2004 zx10r.I'm finding my way around the forum pretty good now because I spend so much time on it,this site is sweet!I posted this info in the wrong spot a couple of days ago Anyway, I have been riding my 1985 Yamaha Vmax for 18+ years now so it was time for a change (still have the Vmax)I had been looking for a season or two to see what I liked, this is my first sportbike. What helped seal the deal on the zx10 was the smaller frame size, the light weight, and of course the power.MODS....Scotts steering damper,Micron high mount slip on,solo seat crowl, under tail kit, fender eliminator,LED tail light with intigrated turn signals, flush mount blinkers, sporttec chrome shield with flames. This bike came with all that stuff on it and only had 4800 mile on it,blaze pearl orange and showroom condition.

Hey guys I'm new to the forum and the world of riding. I just recently picked up an 05 zx6r. I love the bike. I'm not putting it on the road until next spring. Currently I have the bike ripped apart because im messing with the wiring for the rear integrated tail light. The previous owner hacked it. I hope to learn a lot from everyone on the forum

I'm new
I posted in the wrong area the first time.....sorry about that.
http://www.zxforums.com/forums/zx-6r...-question.html
I can't wait to get to know some folks on here and ask a million questions.... lol.
Here is the poor thing as of the moment. I hope to be bringing her home soon. My plan is to turn it back to the original look but some mods here and there. Don't laugh to hard.... at least it runs. Welcome to the "bike in the box"!
Can someone please tell me what the bike is called exactly by looking at the VIN? I haven't a clue.

Hey all. I'm a noob here.
My boyfriend as i went and picked up my first bike yesterday. 09 zx-6r. I have no idea how to ride at all, but why be satisfied with the back of his bike when i can have my own.
So now I have all winter to fall in love with my bike even more and hopefully get some changes on it made. I will be learning as much as possible as fast as possible shortly after the snow melts. Luckily i can count on eager instruction from my boyfriend who is of course more then supportive. :D

Hey Everyone,
I'm new to owning and riding, but have been working at a online parts dealer for over a year. Just took me awhile to get my own bike. I currently own a all black 2006 ZX6R and love it!

Hey all,
This is my second bike, had a 98 F3 for a couple months last winter. 2 days ago I picked up a 97 ZX7R, and am quite impressed thus far. Looks like you guys got a nice forum here full of cool people, happy to join. Also, for anyone whose wondering, my other ride is an 06 GTO.

Hey whats up, my name is Josh from Tucson Az. I am fairly new rider (about 3 months now) and first bike owner. I picked up an 02 zx6r and damn its fast. Far from stock. As far as I know it has full Muzzy exhaust, drop in filter, 520 conversion and stage 1 jet kit. I love this bike so much. Will post pics when I find some.

Hey what happening guys. I have had a few bikes but the best so far is my 96' ZX-7RR. I live in Colorado so there are quite a few mountain passes to ride on and my bike handles it nicely.
