Hey, I'm new also! I really like this site for all the camaraderie shown!
I currently have a question posted under the ZX-6R tab so check it out! I just got a new bike and am looking for some advice!
Thanks!

Hey everyone Got my first sport bike last nite. I'm a little sore this morning just from the ride home (20 miles) but heck, I'll get used to it I've had a few bikes in the past but all, er, upright so to speak. Mid-life crisis I suppose (49 in May). Anyway, this looked like a great site to join and I've been reading a lot of things that are very helpful.

Hello to all!
My name is Rob, I just joined the forum. I own a 2008 Atomic silver ZX14 which I bought new last Spring. My last bike a 97 Yamaha YZF1000 sold 4 years ago with 4 K miles on it , I thought I'm getting old plus had no one to ride with. Well...I just turned 40 in Dec. and the spirit still longs for speed.
I love my 14, can't wait for warmer days, I drove yesterday after removing the flies, what a difference !!! I think I will have to install seat belts now :0) PC III to install this week. I guess that's it for now, I hope everyone's still awake.

Introduction....
wsup ninja fanatics!!! my name's rob i have an 02 zx6-r that i bought last march. It is my first (street legal) bike. since i got it i keep trying to get more and more out of it,,lol,, i put the 520 conv. on it took the stock 15/40 gear to a 14/48 :O. (she's a wheelie machine for a 600 lol) i run pirelli corsaIII rubber (swear by it, its kept me in quite a few sharp ones. i found this forum when looking for upgrading my fairings to 03/04 636 plastics. apparently alot more can be done than i could have possibly imagined!!! but yeah,,lol,,, the bike had 18,000 mi. when i bought it and in a year it now has 33,000. i love the damn kawis,, YOU CAN'T KILL EM hahahaha

Wow 33,000 that's awesome,I had a 90 Ninja 600 back in the 90's with 25 K on it.I guess they are dependable machines. My factory warranty is running out next month and I am speculating if I should take the opportunity of an extended warranty offered by Kawasaki which I think is pretty reasonable ($704 for 4 years). Any thoughts on that ?? I haven't heard anybody talking about reliability of the ZX14's. I am concerned a little about fuel injection, computer etc.

Hey all, another FNG, I'm riding a blue 08 zx10r, I picked it up on sale in February and only 290 more miles until wide open throttle time though realistically I'll still take it slow into the whole rev range as this is a big upgrade from a CBR600F4i.
