Hello
I just bought a 2000 ZX7R and from past experience these forums have been a ton of help. I have been riding for a couple years now. I normally use the bike as a commuter and will occasionaly hit up some rides with good twisties.
Hanvnt taken many pics of the bike but the avatar shows one of them. It is a flat black paint with orange pin stripe flames. It also has a orange light kit installed. Muzzy exhaust, up 1 in the front and stock in back. intigrated turn signals in back and flush mount in front.

Greetings everyone. I have been riding now for about 5 years and have owned 6 bikes. I've had (in order):Yamaha VStar 650 Classic, Suzuki Volusia 800, 2002 Honda VTX 1800, 2003 Honda VTX 1800, 2002 Honda VTX 1800, then decided to get something smaller and had a 2005 Yamaha FZ600. I recently traded that in and just bought a brand new 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R and haven't even picked it up from the dealership. I purchased it, then went right to the airport and flew out. I'll be heading back to Orlando tomorrow and picking it up. I'm so excited. I spent about 3 weeks deciding on getting a Yamaha YZF-R6 and was about to get that, but they gave me a better deal since this ZX-6R was an 07. It's the atomic silver color with red rims. Anyhow, this is my first street bike and I can't wait to see what it can do. Any tips for a former cruiser rider would be greatly appreciated!

welcome! 1st post, in you posted in the correction section, I like you already You will enjoy it! I have an 07 myself, love it to death. Don't go crazy out there, get some frame sliders and I guess I don't have to tell you to gear up since this is your 7th bike.

Hi all!
My name is Bruno and I live in Salem, NH.
Last week I bought a 1996 ZX-11D in dark red.
I'll be picking it up this Saturday and I can't tell you how excited I am!
I learned to ride on a Yamaha Trailway DP bike.
It was awesome!
I loved going on-road and off-road with it whenever I saw some interesting trails.
I have some very fond memories of that bike!
I've ridden a Yamaha Seca 750 and I bought a '91 GSXR-750 in white/blue.
It was gorgeous! Everything I wanted in a sportbike and it was amazing!
Simply a mechanical marvel. I really loved that bike.
Unfortunately, someone took a liking to it and stole it.
After that, I was quite depressed for a while since someone
had also stolen my car a couple of weeks before !!!
Anyway, I'm in a better place now (financially and mentally.)
I'm closing on my house this month and I'm looking forward to riding again very soon!
BTW: The ZX is in great shape!
Very clean and well-kept-up for a 12-year old.
The only mods I can see are a Muzzy pipe, so I'm thinking from the low mileage that whoever owned it before didn't ride it very much.
I have a feeling that I will be putting on a bit more miles though
(but not before I get an alarm!) :-)

Hello everyone, glad to be part of this site.
I just relocated from northern california to Pennsylvania. I've been riding for around 4 years, with some lite track experience. My first bike was an EX 500 and rode that for a few thousand miles. It broke down so I decided to buy a new bike. I bought an '06 YZF 600R and put around 20k miles on it before having to sell it due to financial problems. I was bikeless for 6 months until moving to Pennsylvania and buying an '08 ZX-6R. This bike is amazing and has been my dream bike ever since I began riding.
Cheers!

New to Kawi bikes
so i went the dealer looking for the 08 model. the salesman offered me a brandnew zx6r 07 model for $7000.00. Is this a good deal and if so what are the major differences between the two models?
im new to kawi and i still own an '03 cbr600rr and planned on keeping both bikes.

New to the forum. Just purchased a 1994 Ninja 750 R from a friend. He is the only owner and only put 10,100 miles on it before he gunked up the carbs and decided not to ride it anymore. I will be putting new rubber, seals and hoses on everything, as well as cleaning the carbs thoroughly and repainting the entire bike. Should be a good winter project. Never been down and not a scratch on it, except for the paint that was bubbled on the tank when it was parked with a full tank of gas and no stabilizer in it for the winter.
I also own a 2001 Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide Custom (Switchblade) and a 2006 Harley Davidson 883 Custom that I converted into a hard tail bobber project last winter.
Looking forward to learning all about the Ninja product.

Hi all,
My name is Paul, my surname is the same as a 5 time MotoGP champion and World Cup Soccer champion. I'm 25, been riding only 2 years or so and I wish I'd started earlier.
I ride a 2006 ZX10R, stock, aside from a K&N air filter that the previous owned had fitted. I put new Michelins on front and back when I acquired it and have been working on the chicken strips the last couple of weekends with the sunny winter weather we have here.
I've been in the forums discussing exhaust mods as I'd like to rid of the factory cans for something with more hum.
I generally ride solo without company, although the wife likes to sit up pillion on occasion when we get time on weekends. Friends are not too keen on bikes and those I have ridden with are whingers or they always want to stop and take photos... which is ok... but...
So yeah, I found this forum and thought it would be a good way to keep my ear to the ground. Hope to get to know you all well.

I see a lot of you are from WA just moved to pittsburgh from bellingham and I miss it. The roads are even worse here. Anyway I'm Dan and my new ride is a blue zx6r with PCIII, hyperpro stabilizer, akro carbon slipon and a few cosmetic upgrades. by far the sweetest bike I've ever owned. My first bike was a FZ750 (actually had two of them), a YZF600R, GSXR 1100 and an FZR 600 so this is the first KAWI other than mx bikes I have owned and I love it.

New to here...
My name is Chad... hence the online name...
I stumbled onto this forum while trying to figure out what type of tires to get for my brother's bike that I'm borrowing for the summer. It's a 1997 Ninja ZX-6. I live in the Chicagoland area. If anybody knows of some good twisties around here, I would love to check them out. I haven't found any good ones as of yet. I've been riding for a few months now.

New to the forum, original owner of a '97 ZX-9R. Getting harder and harder to find shops willing to work on a bike that old so I had to start doing research on the net.
Here are some pictures:
It has the typical bolt on mods:
K&N
Full SS Muzzy
Factory Pro Shift Kit
Factory Pro Ignition Advancer
Factory Pro Titanium Jet Kit
Zero Gravity Wind Screen
Second Skin Tank Bra
I'm in the process of installing a Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator Kit, Clear Alternatives Integrated Tail/Signal Lights, and Targa LED Signal Lights for the front.
Just need to figure out which relay is the turn signal relay...
I've got about 20 years riding experience, I learned to play on the dirt in MT...then learned to play in the streets on sportbikes in HI (Tantalus or 13 turns anyone?). My first sport bike was a can of tuna (Katana 600)...and then I went to the Ninja.
