I've been a newbie member here for a few months...

I have a 1997 zx-11d. I have had it since May, and have put about 6k miles on it. I also have a 1993 zx6e I have had for about 8 years w/ almost 40k miles.

I started a resurrection of a '92 ZX-11C on July 28th, 2004. It was a real basket case but I always root for the underdog and I just couldn't walk away from the bike when I saw it. First, I wanted to bitch-slap the dufus that I bought it from because no bike deserves that kind of treatment.

She's mostly complete. I rode it 3300 miles last summer from Iowa to Colorado and then from Colorado to the Black Hills of South Dakota. An awesome trip.

This summer? I haven't had too much seat time. I started my own graphics studio and have been very busy. But it's a good kind of busy.

Here's a picture of the bike all packed up and ready to go on the Colorado ride last year.

Newbie with some CBR knowledge

hey,
i'm Rob. and i live in paradise. therefore i need a bike again. i had a 92 cbr that i bought as a wreck and i built it up to a sexy streetfighter before it got totaled when my buddy got hit by a truck that 'just didn't see him'. so now its time for a 99 zx6r. i love the look of the zx7r but this one is the right deal i think so i can't jus pass it up... plus i alwayz love a project...

thanks for the site guys.... keep it up..

hey all, i just stumbled across these forums even though i've been riding my kawi for the better part of 2 years. names John, live in Reading, PA. ride a Titanium 636, mods so far, Yoshimura slip on, flush mount turn signals, intigrated taillight/turn signals, rear seat cowel, Zero Gravity windscreen, custom plate mount and plate lights. soon to install a set of vortex lowering links. future plans include, Extensions, Nitrous, and air shifter. i want to start drag racing, i know its only a 636 but its a start. later i'll either step up to a zx-10 or 14.

Hi all, finally received the C14 ABS on 8/25. A long wait after placing a deposit in March. I've been looking for a good site and this one has the most member participation. I live in southwest Ohio in the country and have been riding for 35 years and hope to spend many more on the C14.

Talking I'm new but anyone want a ZX-12R for trade?

My name is Neil and I have been riding bikes for 30 years....and I am 35 now! First one was a 40 Suzuki and have had at least 1 motorcyles at all times sence then. List is as follows: 40 Suzuki , 50 Honda , 125 Kawi , 450 Husky ,400 Hawk , 1000 Interceptor , 99 ZRX1100 , 98 CBR 900RR , 94 YZF 750 , 94' FZR 1000 , 800 Vulcan , 2000 Hayabusa and now have a Yamaha 1700 Warrior and a 2001 ZX12R...so yea it's a sickness that I am sure most here understand. I love my 12R but I have had a few back sugeries and find myself ridding the Warrior more often. I have my 12R on craigslist under ILLINOIS location and davenport heading if anyone cares to look. Why I would like the cash, I may be interested in less expensive sportbike trade and some cash as I would like to have one in the bullpen on the days my back feels good. I really liked the ZX-7 my brother had a few years back and wouldn't mind getting my hands on a clean one of those.Any how feel free to call 309-472-3469 if anyone has an trade or is interested in just buying it...Please no lowball offers as I have the title I am NOT despirate to sell it,it just seems a waste to leave in in the garage! Thanks and have a good nite!...PS I will be out of town in a dead cell area starting Friday the 6th so just leave me voicemail and I will get back to you on Sunday nite when I get back in.

Just bought an 05 zx6r. I had an 07 Triumph 675 but I totalled it and didn't want to get another (it had lots of problems) . Decided to go back to jap bikes.
Been riding for 35+ years but serius sport street/track riding for about 7 yrs.
Wife also rides street/track...she has an r6.

Hello to all. Even though I've been riding Kaws since 1998..sold my ultra rare Moto-Guzzi 'Dr. John' Daytona 1000 and bought a new 99' ZZX9R.. and have stayed with the brand ever since...I've just discovered and joined this site.

In fact Kawa's products have so enamoured me that my much loved 9R now has a Z-1000, ZZ-R1200 and ZG-1000GTR as garage mates, right alongside my Porsche type 993 Carrera4-RS. Of the lot, next to the Porsche, the 9R is still the most exciting and beautiful..with performance to match. It's as fresh and scintillating as the day I first rode it way back in feburary 1999..

Here are a few pix of our 9R, as well as one of our ZZ-R1200 and another of my fiance', Ola.

The number plate say's it all..

Here's a shot of the Valentine1 remote display module ...it's like having diplomatic immunity.
