It looks like your wife had more damage than the bike. I hope she isn't afraid to hop back on the bike.

If she is insistant on getting a big bike and has the urge to go fast, make sure you take out a large insurance policy on her. Chances are the outcome wont be good.

agh she doesnt feel the need to push herself past her riding abilities wich is one of the first things that i tried to instill in to her and everyone that rides with me and all of the ppl that i use to ride with that brought me up during my squid days and i have only been riding 8 years so there is always room for improvement

Damn, I didn't smile like that the first time I went down on a street bike! But I did go out drinking that night then proceeded to spend the next 13 days in the burn ward due to road rash! LOL

Let her get what she wants. My first bike was my ZX7R. Haven't laid it down yet. Dropped it in the garage once due to the slick floor but shit happens. Just don't talk her into something that wont make her happy.

After 2 summers of riding, we've talked of her getting a 600 (or even the new 400 Ninja) but she likes her bike fine, does a great job of winding it out when the time is right and I have confidence that with 33 h.p., she's not likely to have the rear break traction when she's running through curves.

Wifey material.

most girls ride gixxer 600s because they're more narrow in the legs and easier to get your foot down. if she wants a 600 look into that. but if she doesnt want a 250 and still wants some sort of grunt, maybe look into an sv650?

Ztaft...when did your wifey have her lowside?
Looks like it was drizzlin' rain that day...she all healed up now? Bike all repaired?
In other words - Is it all good?
