Bitch and Moan

So... saturday just came around and i didnt have a lot on. i woke up and played Xbox, 10mins in the picture freezes and i am told i have 'the 3 red reinds of death' i.e. my 1 month old xbox has overheated and is now permanently f*cked.

Ahh well... Soldier on. I decided to service and clean my Ninja and whilst doing it i thought i'd do my flatmate a favour and do the same for his Sv 650. Clean off all that winter grime, re-charge the batteries and take them for a little spin to fill them up and buy some injector cleaner. I spent about 2 hours on my mates bike and then i go to put it on its side stand and the f*ckin thing folds up and drops like a stone. Luckily i was wearing my bike boots cause my natural reaction was to shove myself under it wedging my shin like a lever to lift it up. Alas its too late. The gear lever has snapped off and the fairing is scuffed.

I'm in a sh*t mood now so i go to the shops to buy dinner and forget about the bikes. I forgot my keys and so got locked out.

Eventually my flat mate comes home and i tell him i dropped his bike. He's now in a sh*t mood.

I then go to put my shopping away and when i open the cupboard an open bag of coffee powder falls out and goes all over me and the kitchen.

£80 on xbox repair, £160 on gear lever and paint for someone elses bike and 20mins cleaning up coffee. Saturday was a sh*t day!

Lesson is...

When a day starts badly. Get back in bed cause its only gonna get worse.

I've had so many of those days, I lost count. And just so you know, if the day already decides it's gonna be a bitch, you can't get back in bed. Because a dog will start barking, you'll spill your drink all over the bed and after you clean it up, the middle of the box spring will collapse. You're better off just putting your helmet and some mittens on and just soldier through the day.

You are not alone my friend. I hate those days. I have had some where I just start laughing (in a not funny kind of way) at the sheer absurdity of it. About a year and a half ago I was on a real roll. Everything, I mean everything went wrong. Financially, personally and medically etc... As if shit wasn't bad enough I got kidney stones (most painful thing ever)and was in the hospital!
Put it behind you and move on. Way down the road you can have a laugh about it.

If one of my friends arbitrarily decided to be nice and clean my bike without being asked, I'd probably put them in the hospital even if nothing bad happened and it came out beautiful. That's probably why I don't have many friendships to maintain

No! you difficult! I refuse to believe it.

Jess, you kinda remind me of those crotchety old men that heckled from the balcony on The Muppet Show. They were always very positive.
I mean that in the nicest possible way.

I didn't vote. She looks like a punky 12yr old boy. I like her voice though. If there woulda been a: "came home drunk and she was passed out, naked" option, I woulda voted.

'member that episode where somebody was throwing knives around, and there was this big investigation to find out who it was and it turned out to be them? Up in their balcony box at the end, with bars on it

You must change your attitude asap when you see that one of those days is starting. I know it's silly to say so and its hard too but it works!
