mod for the handicapped= passioniate

I found this very interesting and to me displays a true passion and love for the sport. I don't know if it is even my place to discuss this but its not meant in any disrespectful way so I'm sure if he knew he would not care.

My boy and I share an apartment it just so happens that we grew up together like elementry school age. His father was always a die-hard car, nascar, racing, motorcyle, dirt bike, motocross fan. Sometime a few years back my boy, his sister, and his father were doing motorcross and he was involved in some sort of accident which left him paralyzed. Now this is obviously a terrible thing. Recently my boy was telling me there is a mod which allows a paralyzed person to ride a motorcycle, when you slow down wheels come out to stabilize you. Sort of like training wheels. You velcro your knees to the tank sort of like how a tank grip pad would function. There are videos on youtube, unfortunatly cant post them right now because work blocks Utube.

To me this displays a true passion, I find this very interesting seeing as how I feel like people are less passionate about things then they used to be. I am a die-hard car fan, and got into the motorcyle scene last summer. I am now becoming passionate about streetbikes as well as cars.

Just something to discuss. But it has been on my mind for a while.

I guess it's worse being told you cannot do something , when your mind is still as active and passionate about whatever floated the ol boat before becoming a paralized individual, so I think if the mind is willing then anything is possible, more so today than at any other time.

I remember seeing that. Looked pretty good to me.

Like BULLDOG said you can always figure something out if you want it badly enough

Honestly, thats just as much respect to them for doing what they love! I would ride with anyone who loves the sport and respects it! Thats for sure. Its nice to see people still having that flaming passion for motor vehicles.

I too am extremely into my muscle scene. I have had a sportbike and am getting onto this scene too. I really love what I ride and Im happy to be a part of it
