Male vs Female Helmets
What the hell is the difference other than the pretty pictures?
I wanna buy a helmet for my girlfriend and I have been looking. I just cant find anything different between them.

Other than the pink and baby blue colors, I don't think there's a difference.

I would take her to cycle gear and have her try on different helmets, make sure it fits her. I'm not sure if there are structural differences in male and female craniums but you never know.

i dun think there is a difference. most are made unisex. just the colors... take her in, and fit the helmet she wants to her. thats the easier way to it. now if u get the motocross helmets they're a bit different. (the structure on the inside)... but ur not really getting a mx helmet now.

There isnt a difference as far as I know. But lets face it most guys dont want to walk around with pink and baby blue helmets on and girls sometimes do.
Good luck with the helmet search!

No difference. Make sure it fits and she likes the color scheme.

There is an important structural deference with male and female sport shoes, helmets? Mmmm? No!
But their heads are a little less reinforced than ours though.

I didn’t say that!
I only wanted to say that the female skull, in average, has less bone thickness that a male’s. Not bone density, only thickness!
Why? Because for millions of years we have had to survive more attacks, more clubbing, than the average females had to. We are built for war.
(Structural reinforcement)
Look:
Point made!
