Seriously that phrase could mean a bunch of things, and like a lot of languages when directly translated!!! word for word into English, it makes little sense.
it could be a poetical way of saying when you ride you feel the wind run its hands down your back, and you feel it fly by your body??? not exactly that but you get my point I'm sure.
It sure sounds nicer than saying when riding in the cool air it is so fucking cold it feels like i have ice cube in my man panties, and my bollocks resemble baby walnuts.

years ago I did some linguistics only from working in places around the world with the military, so although I speak 12 languages I speak them really badly, shit i have enough trouble speaking English .
