A local dealer has an 05 zx10....burnt orange or red what ever you want to call it...all stock with 7k on it. Its on consignment and they wany $5999 for it. Is this a good deal? If I were to trade in my 05 636 with 10k on it what should i get out of it without taking the shaft? Let me know whatcha think
I've been seeing and reading about 05 636's going for $5000 and less. So, a grand more for a 10R doesn't sound too bad if the bike is in good to great shape.
And, if you were to trade in your 636, don't expect to get much more than probably $3000 for it. Dealers don't really want to take on a whole lot of used bikes and they've got to make some money on what they do take.
Pearl Magma Red. Last July I bought that exact bike with only 2600mi on it for $5500, and it came with a cover, good gloves and two decent helmets. In other words, not a bad deal, but you're not stealing it either.

Yeah maybe, it was late at night. I do remember clearly what I said, basically that I paid 3500$ for my old bike with 26000 miles on it. And that I’m happy with it. I remember I quoted you, agreeing that a bike with fewer miles can be found for that price.
