What do you guys think about this?

At a local rental store they are selling a 2007 zx-600 with 23,000 miles on it for 4500$. I've owned plenty of motorcycles from 600, 750's and 1,000's but I'm kinda hesitant on buying this bike due to the fact that it has so many miles on it plus I'm sure the people that rented the bike were abusing the shit out it. I checked the service records and the rental shop always brought it in for maintanance and such. But for the price I'm not sure I can pass it up, what do you guys think?

Can't comment on the condition or maintenance of the bike but...the price doesn't sound bad. Keep in mind though, you could probably find an 05-06 ZX6R(636) for the same price...and most likely, with less miles.

It does have many miles on it for a 2007. The price isn’t too bad but as Shifty1 said, you can find another bike for that price with fewer miles on it.
I bought my ZX-6 from 1990 for 3500$ with 26000miles on it. I did have to fix one whole lot of things, but all minor problems.
I paid a lot for an old bike, but very few are in this condition and I’m very happy with it!
Look carefully and you will find a great bike just for you !

My 05 I bought for 4500 and it only had 15k on it. I have heard of many other guys on here who have gotten 05-06 636's for about 4700-5000 with as few as 1500 miles on them. So take that into account. I fyou still dont think you can pass up on it then go for it if it is what you want.

Or if you can really swing a deal, you can get one like mine for 3100 with 18904 on the odo, but -1 on the front with no speedohealer.

That price is really high for it having so many miles. To bad you're not here in NC. There is an Black 07 ZX6R with 7000 miles with new tires and an aftermarket exhaust for 5K and of course you can negotiate price. If anyone else is interested in it also...

Indeed. It's a buyer's market right now. While it isn't highway robbery, it isn't the bargain of the decade either. Unless you're in love with it for some reason, there are a lot more fish in the sea.
