What's the deal with MONSTER?
Someone explain to me the affliction of having Monster energy crap on a bike? Not only do I find it disturbing that it's a factory $$ decal option $$ but I see other brand bikes where people have put Monster decals on their shit.
Sorry but I don't get it. No offense to ones that have a Monster ZX but it's just not for me at all.

As far as the factory option goes it is because Monster used to sponsor Kawasaki in racing. That is why you can buy kawi's like that. Monster has since ended their contract with Kawi and is now sponsoring yamaha. As far as other brand bikes and people sticking monster stickers on the cars and other bikes I don't know. The Kawi monster option is kinda like the Honda Repsol option.

Thank you D.H., for a clear and precise answer. No drama. I didn't know, that's how it worked with Monster drink.
I kinna like the Monster ZX-14 myself. It just reminds us ALL, exactly "what" you're dealing with , when you pull up beside one ___

I don't see it any different from the Oakley stickers that were all over the back window of every car in the early 90's, or the Harley stickers that pepper them all now. Although the factory Monster Kawi's are more in the vein of the HD edition F150's, which while quite gay for anyone who doesn't actually own a Harley, doesn't hit me the same for some reason.
I like the drink, like the association, and find the name appropriate. That said, I haven't gotten around to putting any stickers on my bike. I have nothing against stickers, but so far all I've done is remove them. I keep telling myself I'll get the M for it one day, but who knows when that'll be. I don't know why anyone who doesn't like the drink would buy the Monster edition bike though. Maybe jut me...

Your welcome
I deff. like the look of the monster edition 14 and the new edition on the 08-10 zx10r and the 09-10 zx6r I like the black with green seats for whatever reason and the green accents on the black 14. I have no problem with anyone who wants to sport whatever they want on their bike. I'm not sure I personally would have the M sticker but I deff like the green seats and accents. Reallys ets the bikes apart in my opinion. Again I am all for people setting their bike up however they like. It would be boring if they were all the same.

Personally, I wouldn't pay someone to advertise their product on any of my vehicles.
If you want me to put the M on my bike, show me the money.

Actually, a Monster rep gave me my sticker because I didn't want to buy one. And I put it... fuck, where is that damn thing?

Not my cuppa cha advertizing for FREE! however if push came to shove I would rather a Monster emblaizoned ZX-14 over a 14 with Tampon decals written all over it.

The guy in my home town that sells plastic models and supplies for them, one day said that he couldn’t sell a model 1/12 scale racing bike because it has Kotex decals on it.
