Oh no doubt I will be extremely nervous with her on a bike. Im kinda the protective type. Who knew . But the way I see it is she is nervous everytime I get on my bike and somehow manages to handle it so the least I can do is figure out a way to handle her being on a bike. I have told her she has to take the MSF course. Im not the controlling type I jsut feel it is really beneficial here. It has saved me a couple of times. I have even said if she is serious about getting a bike then I will pay for the class it is just something I feel you should take. My opinion though.

Great bike girl! Sorry to hear about the boyfriends jelousy its such a waist of energy. My husband and i have such a wacky situation going on you would never think we could make it and be each other best friends. Im a bartender and he's a lawyer. I get hit on right in front of him and he gets a kick out of it. Him and his buddies will come into where i work just to get laugh's at the guys that try to pick me up. I cant count how many girls hit on him at his job or when he's out on the bike or with his buddies. We have never doughted each other because we respect each other and would never want to put each other in pain. So i would be cautious about a jelous boyfreind. It usally means they have no self confidence and are unsure about themselves. Thats all i will say about that you guys are young so plenty to learn. I bet my husband read you post and said wow a girl that can out ride her boyfriend. Im jelous.Good luck.

Perhaps, but she makes a valid point.

yeah i understand what u are trying to say. I mean a little jealousy isnt a bad thing, its when they wont let u ride. or do anything on that part. Then that's just not good.

And i would recommend her to take the class, i took it. and i passed thru to the expert class and i have to complete that. but my boy said that was a waste of money. I had my endorsement prior but i wanted to take the class, because i know i would learn something from it. And i learned a hell of alot more then just street riding, and after taking it, i started criticizing my boy's riding. Not such a good idea... so i stopped. But i liked the class alot. Not gonna lie i was more nervous on their bikes then my own. And when i first got my 1st bike, i was nervous and then just sucked it up and rode. So it takes time.

Well I think/hope I fall into the little bit jealous category...

I told her today that when I get out of college I want to go ride in italy as like a graduation present and I want to go visit all the mojor bike companies. i.e. bimota, ducati, alpinestars, etc. So my junior year we would figure out a way to get her through the MSF course and get her a bike to ride so when I go to italy she can go with me and ride all the roads for herself rather than being a passenger. She seemed to like that idea
