Holy fuck... if I still had my GT you'd be getting a Paypal notice shortly! $3K wouldn't even cover the turbos and the heads! WTF is the matter with you?

Speedo is wrong. WAY wrong. Don't feel bad, it's perfectly normal. Get a SpeedoHealer and a GPS, then come back and try again telling us how fast your 636 is.

i never had too much to say about the Mustang GT's until i rode with a friend of mine , he had an 89 . The zero to 60 time was damn good , and the zero to shit my pants time was even better. he had the exhaust hacked off right behind the catalytic converter so it even had a good tone to it. 145 was easy in that car.

I kinda figured, but, whatever. I have no need to go that damn fast. I I do, then I'll get a ZX-14.

Speedohealer is a must, not only for correct indicated speed, but also a correct reading in the odometer in case you want to sell your bike; it won't show more miles than the bike has, specially if you have changed the gears, that mod really throws off the speedo. As for gixxers, I know they are the choice of squids, but I wouldn't mind getting a 750 to have fun at a track, I just won't take the 14 to a track day. I'm tall and heavy, and no other japs are currently making 750s, so I might go ahead for a used one in the future. Have fun, soldmysoul, and make the bike truly yours.

There's a GSXR 750 at the shop that I hate to admit I really like. It's a little older, back before they became so fucking ulgy, which probably has something to do with it. Thing is like new, never been down and clean as a whistle. Just over 3K on the clock, full exhaust, jetted, new 2CT's, good sliders, Puig DB. Damn sweet looking bike. It's on consignment, she wants somewhere between $4-5K for it. It'll be gone soon.

Enjoy your new ride. Honestly id like to have one of both; a newer 6r and preferably a gsxr750. I can def. see a gixxer 750 somewhere in my future though. Just dont ride it squidly, maybe you can help transform the gixxer image.
As far as the Ford/Chevy/Mopar thing, i better not go there cause it may never end. I like a good friendly rivalry though.
...I did see a new Camaro in black the other day on the road that was gorgeous. And if i could afford the payment id have a new GTO in the garage. And yea, dude with the chromed out dual turbo engine - like Jess said the fuggin turbos alone are worth more than 3k and even a Chevy guy like me wouldnt pass a deal like that.
