Yah, I loved it. I'd have to say it was the most comfortable helmet I used. The shop up the street was just starting to carry the sparx brand and had them on sale for 50$ so I decided to give it a try and fell in love. The color of the griffin almost was a perfect match to the titanium silver color of my bike too. They have some other pretty sweet designs too.

We tried on alot of helmets and the Sparx fit nice. Paid $125 PLUS the dark shield($20) over a year ago for each one. I just bought 2 for the cruiser including a dark shield for $140 for both.

I would try it. I mean u couldnt ride for how many months after that.. that deserves cash too. i just cant believe he got off.. good luck to ya man

TwoBears... I remember you talking about taking some of the parts off your bike before you gave it back to the insurance company. Have you sold them or are you still holding on to them figured Id ask

Indeed... I doubt most of them will work on the new ten.

This is a sore subject. My insurance company gave me a week from the date of the accident to get to the bike and take part off and replace them with the stock ones. I was planning on getting out to the bike within the first week to do that and sell all of my stuff because i knew the bike was trashed. And well, they towed it away before I got a chance to get anything off of it. Sorry to let anyone down that was hoping for some parts. But my attorney and I are still fighting the insurance company on this. If i get a chance to get some parts, you guys have first dibbs.

Sweet. Deff. keep us updated on that. Also I don't remember if you have already gone over this but are you taking this guy back to court on personal charges?

Even if they total your bike, isn't it still legally yours to do what you want with it?

If that's the case, can't he buy it back from the ins co? What does the ins co want with a wrecked bike?
I've only dealt with a home casualty and the adjuster paid me for items and told me to do what I want with them.

Technically it is still your bike. You still have the title for it. Now when the insurance company appraises the bike and notifies you that it is totalled they will give you a fee in which they take out of what they give you if you decide to keep the bike. (in twobears case I believe they said he could buy back his 636 for approx. 1600, in which case they take 1600 out of what they pay him) Then you go to the insurance companies office and sign over the title and rights to the bike. But until you sign your name on the information giving them the bike it is still your bike. The title is still in your name. In which case unless they have sold twobears 636 for parts he should be able to get the bike back. If they have sold it then twobears has the ability to take the insurance comapny to court since it was not their bike to sell. (all of this going on the basis that he didn't turn over the title and the rights to the bike.)

What they do is they sell the bike to a salvage company who then parts out all the usable parts.
