Good luck but me thinks you may have to do a little more than spray it to pull 8's.

We talking 1/4mi, or 1/8mi? If it's 1/4th, good luck with a 636.

I'm always stuck on 1/4 mile. As far as I'm concerned, that's all there is when people say "drag racing".

talking 1/4 mile. and if i can go 9.50s with a somewhat mostly stock motor(race upper no headlight, bike will be straped in front, lowered in rear, geared up w/non oring chain, extended +4, rear shock proper set up, full yosh exhaust, backcut tranny gears with no 5th or 6th gear, star shift kit, velocity stacks, no 2ndry throttle plates, and sum other goodies cant tell u everything) then i plan i building it for nos 100 shot on a progressive controller : )

What's the point of drag racing a 600? I guess whatever floats your boat?

hmm let me see go faster than a bike that has a motor over twice the size? i wonder.....what is the point i guess i could make a busa or 14 like everyone else. then i can sell my bike and buy a toyota prius and trade my pants in for a skirt. but fuk that i like taking peoples money who cant ride and dont know shit about bikes so when there rockin their busa theyll be feeln real shitty when they lose to a 636.

Realistically I do not see you running a 9.50 with the setup you are talking. I wouldnt plan on it without some motor work. And if you are serious about getting into the 8's, you will need a turbo. You could probably build the hell out of the engine and run some nitrous but a turbo setup will be cheaper and will actually last longer than a few runs.

Even if you had a turbo an eperienced racer with a stock litre bike would still win...

first of all thanks for the concern, but there is allready a dude at my local drag strip and i have personally seen him run 9.29 at like i forget the mph and he has no turbo set up . yea a turbo set up would def be the way to go over nos, but i dont care about blowing 636 motors i have 3 of them right now . o yea and btw ive seen many "experienced" drag racers get their ass handed to them by this guy and for those who think nos will blow your motor(itwill) if you build it properly and have the proper a/f its actually very safe.

You're funny. I like you. I get so sick of all the stretched busas with dudes wearing just a vest for protection thinking they're ganstas! It would be very funny to see a 636 blow away a busa on the strip.

yea it is everytime i watch him i rofl , so i figured why let him have all the fun. Also i have never understood all the dudes that show up with their hayabusas and 14s on trailors and they run not much faster times than the dudes that ride them their i would be ashamed. or maybe they are like professional super stock class racers?

Theres no way in hell that 636 will even be seen as competition with a busa. I dont care what you do to it. If you want a fast bike sell it and buy another that actually has the potential.

Because I don't know how they can turn or corner with a 10in stretch and 360's in the back lol

how do you figure that when i watch him beat busa's and 14's every friday?? dunno where you are from buddy but down here in florida we dont play when it comes to drag racing. As a matter of FACT drag racing is won or lost at the starting line and first 60'... so really motor size only gets u so far, yes a hayabusa is faster than a 636, i dont expect someone who is serious about drag racing their hayabusa to run 9 sec 1/4 mile times either.....

Well here in the racing capitol in the world we say no matter how much you shine a terd, it's still a terd. I don't care if you have a turbo, or nitrous on the damn thing you won't win unless your against a retard with only a left arm. There is no replacement for displacement. PERIOD! The busa will win.

also i never said i was building the fastest bike ever. i said i was aming for 9.50s on a somewhat stock motor. if the bike runs 11 sec 1/4 miles in stock form and you can get it to do 9.50s without nos, turbo, or altering the rotating assembly, then id say you did pretty good. so if you have lets say a zx10 and it stock does 10 sec 1/4 miles maybe even high 9s TO ME if you are serious about drag racing and you own a litre bike or bigger you are retarded and cant ride if you dont get it in the 8s.
