Let me check, I'll let you know tomorrow. To be honest, I still need to get my invoice and see the itemization. I just know what I paid for everything, which included my truck wheels & misc bike and truck parts.
...what happens when you work with friends. You sometimes for get to to get the important shit.

Now that I'm OFFICIALLY back on 2 wheels (took my first ride tonight) I would go, but I'm heading out to Vegas this weekend for the Vegas Bike Fest. Me & 3 others (2 cruisers & 2 sport bikes , including mine) are rolling the bikes on a trailer to State Line. Then we are going to ride into Vegas from there.
I will be up for the next Ortega run. In fact. I want to do that Ortega, Banner Canyon to Julian ride again.

Sorry I was late, didn't get to the gas station til 7:45ish, figured I'd run into you guys if I ran it solo. Good thing I did. Ended up going alot faster while with you guys. Felt pretty good to push it, did slip some a couple times but it was fun
How was Idyllwild?

A pic from Vegas Bike Fest. Me & my friends bikes were trailered up there, but we rode back home from Vegas yesterday. Cold & windy & not being able to split traffic in Nevada sucked, but the overall ride was really nice. The bike held up great, for the exception of a loose foot peg that I needed to fix. The combo of the ignition advancer & the exhaust makes a world of difference. I hit 100 in 2nd gear without it feeling like it was laboring. The shifting into gears is so smooth it's ridiculous.
I blow 1-2 foot flames when I hit the rev limiter. I did that shit on Las Vegas Blvd on Friday night.
I still have the jetkit that I need to have installed though.
Note about Las Vegas riding though. The streets out there have a oily overlay because of the lack of rain, and Cali tires are not the best out there. I was told that tires sold in Vegas are a bit different in compound. So, you really need to be careful...especially me since at that time I had a total of 5 miles on brand new tires. The other thing is that it is completely horrible cruising the blvd. With the traffic and their screwed up traffic signals, you move for about 30 seconds then sit for 3 minutes, then move another 30 seconds. I don't think I'll be cruising my bike on that blvd anytime soon.

Vegas Run
Patrick, thank you for a good, brief summary of the trip. I would have been going NUTS, not being able, or cautious not to, split lanes. I rely on that technique now, to travel from point A, to point B, and so forth. I have lost almost all my patience with heavy traffic, since riding my zipper has become my preferred, and more frequent mode of transportation. I'm glad you shared that detail, about Nevadas' driving laws .
Im glad you [all] made it home safely. I hate to hear that you had to "deal wit" the nippy temps and wind. . . .but you did it, and thats cool.
Im glad to hear your kaw is performing nicely(as it should), and performance shall increase admirably after the jet kit install and dyno tune. -watch
Dude Im fiend'n for a good ride, with 10+ sportbikes . And the weather is so proper right now. . . .but won't last.

Hey Patrick,
Nice job getting back from LV, wind must have been a pain.
Just wondering how different the Galfer rotors and lines feel? Good luck with the advancer
Should definitely do an Ortega run before the weather gets colder
