Shifting is way better this way. Good stuff, highly recommended. Just need to get used to it.

I just changed my shifting to GP style where I do one up and the rest down. It took less than a minute to do. Anyways here is a picture of how to do it. This is on a Kawi 636, it might be different on others.

All you have to do is flip the shift rod end 90 degrees and put it back on. This is the part and what it will look like when you are done flipping it over

Thanks Eazy...that would take some getting used to. Could be useful stopping a buddy from riding it. Or if someone stole it...or tried LOL.

Works great for when you are coming out of corners fast and you need to shift up. No need to reset your foot under the foot peg, especially if your are using your body weight and are leaning off the bike.

Im down to Ride. I live in LA, but could possibly meet up in OC or Diego depending on the time of day. Im off wed and thurs(wack) but if the ride is early enough, I could make it. Last night I went on a late night group ride on PCH and there was a check point. They pulled all of us to the side and checked to see our license and let us go. I know they're going to be out and about tonight.

WhaaahT !! Did they say WHY they checked your license?? Is that a reason to stop someone NOT doing something unsafe?? Or were ya'll ridin' unsafe? Was it a sobriety check point? Did anyone get checked for blood alcohol level?

Dude, get that officers' NAME/ID, BADGE, SOMETHIN', and get a lawyer!! REPORT HIS ASS. Don't allow L.E. to victimize you for nuthin. If you are doing something you know is wrong or unsafe, be respectfull and take it like a man. If ya'll bein' cool and, mindin' your business, "Call" their BULLSHIT bluff

Did anyone see them pull over AUTOMOBILES/TRUCKS/SUV's ?? Man, That kinna stuff is harrasment. I would not be quiet about that kinda treatment. I would respectfully complain AND, seek some legal defense, i kid you not

btw: PCH, near what beach/crossstreet did this "checkpoint" occur ? Thanks for the headsup.
