Thinking about renting a car and rolling out to Laguna Seca tomorrow. All depends on how ridiculous room costs are.

First ticket of the holiday weekend. Today up at the LA Crest, got myself a fix it ticket for having my rear lights down low. Well at least it wasn't a speeding ticket.
Saw tons of copper activity everywhere, ride slow and safe out there if you decide to ride this weekend.

I did get a text from Ray and he confirmed that the eye candy was in large quantities.

Dude I just saw a replay of the race. That shit was sweet. Rossi almost came through at the end. I could tell Pedrosa was shitting bricks the last few laps. One more lap and Rossi would have took first.
Oh and Lorenzo almost taking second from Rossi, good stuff, too bad he came in too hot on that turn.
Damn....All I have to say is that Rossi is the shit.
By the way, what happened to Stoner? Wasn't feeling the race that day huh?? He just slowly drifted away to fifth.

glad you had fun, my ass is turning sore just from reading about someone else doing that trip
probably would have gone if I didn't take the trip earlier, next year for sure
And the eye candy is burned into the back of your retinas, right?
and the sky blue R6, love the splash, don't know what else to call it, on the tank and mid-fairings

Going up to monterey thru pch1 was cool as hell especially the view really nice but the twisties were really dirty and bunch of wildlife... i hit a bird in midflight with my helmet and landed on my lap and julie just brush it off ... also a deer just stood there on the side of the road so i slowed down just in case it jumped out.
Almost ran out of gas but a Valero saved the day. i would do that route again but it would have to be an early start.

whew, nothing crazy like that happened to me, always thought a bird would explode or so I've heard, guess you hit it real lightly.
I almost ran over some squirrels coming down Palomar mountain last week, one of em ran out into the middle of the road and did the whole deer in headlights with his fur raised as I dodged him.
