Good to hear that you get out of the hospital. Being stuck in there is no good.

Alex & I were just talking about all the folks at the bike night with nothing but a back protector on. There had to be at least a good 70+ with just that. Don't want to rag, but don't do that anymore!

If it's just cosmetic fairing damage and such, and no structural damage...try to prevent the insurance from totaling it out.
...unless you want a new ZX6
In any event get better, take care and get back on the road quick so that you can get rollin' with us again.
Peace!

Waleed, looks like your shoe came off too! when mine came off my sockw as shredded away though, so looks like you're lucky as far as that goes but look into some boots too.
Glad to hear you're at home and getting better. Once your back on the horse you will have a new respect for technique and safety that you can only learn from being in an accident. Welcome to the club dude!

Nick I can vouch for that. esp from my experiences. I doubt i'll go on rides without my suit, and for the superstition we came up with. I think i'll just dump that idea. Like you said just gotta respect technique and safety.
On a side note, glad to hear your still alive walleed (sp) Get well soon and hope to hear you back up on two wheels again.

Headshake at 125mph = no fun. I lost a shoe my foot got fucked. I have roadrash on every one of my limbs, and everyfinger on the hand the glove fell off... my jackets back lifted up and my lower back has some gnarly road rash. I got up and thought I was in the middle of the freeway but was on the shoulder, and I turn around and my baby is ingulfed in 15 foot flames

Got dayum!
Well Alex . . . . . you faired well, compared to some. You [are] walkin' and talkin'.
It's as simple as 1-2-3: 1) Thank the Lord. 2) Heal up good. 3) Get another nice bike, and ride it!

Fuck man!
I'm glad to hear that you're OK (walking away) minus the stated injuries.
Too many of us going down lately; not good.
What's the story with the white Expedition that look to have got some fire damage too?

what exactly happened tho? did you get on it hard when u were at 125 already or what? or did the head shake just come out of nowhere?
