just under 6000 miles broh. Pretty good for 1 set of tires. I remember on my 6 when I had dunlop qualifiers they only lasted 2.5-3K miles. I've been told these michelins will last about the same as the Bridgestone stocks for the zx10, so that's about 4-5 months, 100 bones per month for rubber...I can deal with that I guess.

I went back out and put 50 miles on em tonight. Man they take some getting used to I would never recommend for beginners. They actually make you fall into turns, it's surprising. I'm really liking the new aspect they provide though. The middle of the tire is harder than the sides, which is what the dual compound tire (2CT) stands for. So it wears long on highways, and it sticks good on the twisties. Can't get much better!

Sucessful ride. Went 8 East up to Crest Highway, Then Harbison canyon. I love that awsome S-Turn just before the slow down zone. Then instead of heading towards Alpine like i always do.. I went right on Harbison Canyon. I never went that way before and it joins the Japatul Vlly Rd!!!! freaken sweet ride. Went back the same way and even joined a group of three on newer GSXR's. We're all on two wheels so it was great. Over all was pretty good. Wanted to lean more but the road was pretty cold so i just took it easy.

I'm down with Malibu one of these days. What days can you go? Maybe in the future we can setup a local LA/OC ride up there?
