Yea overall was a fun ride. Sucks I had to go down but, like they say you live and learn. My body position and turn entries needs practice for sure, think I was going a little too fast. I should've slowed down after I scraped the bottom of my boots on some turns. Oh well...... Just minor crack on the left fearing, and some scratches. I just need to replace the bracket that holds my speedo and the front windscreen on. The left side of the bracket cracked so my left mirror just shakes and the front left of the windscreen just shakes. Thanks for helping me out guys, I had no strength what so ever to pull it back up. That BKS suit was money well spent, no tears or rips. Just dirty from the dirt, got some major cleaning that needs to be done on the suit. my body is starting to feel it now, time to take some vik :) Till next time guys....

Yea i think air overed that part. Sucks cuz my cousin gave me a bottle water and I was drinking it, and next thing I knew it fell over and went rolling down the drain. I just watched it go down and sighed the whole time it went down. hahah

Yea I decided to take a 800mg motrin and that knocked me out. I think i'll keep the vicadin for a more severe muscle ache. Thanks for the help in pulling my bike back up. I had no strength to pull it out. Glad you made it home ok, we were all worried that you weren't able to find your way back.

That's so sad. It reminds me of a kid that just got a giant scoop of ice creame and then it falls over onto the ground... I was so stunned coming around the corner seeing you there. I was like oh my goodness a white deer, then it was just your bike... idk why I thought you were a white deer. But I did for a second...

Don't take that U-ee "pa -pa- pa-pa -personal" . I ain't got time for NO copper-dude, puttin' my a$$ in the system . I hope Dylan did NOT get, what I thought I was gonna get . 'Cause I boosted the same slow ass van D did. So, I decided, I did not need ANY more drama TODAY! I just wanna shower, drink a couple of "cold ones", and prepare my ass for WORK, 6a.m in the morning. That was too close for comfort .
I'm tired. Peace ya'll.

haha i don't take the U personally i would have done the same thing. and yes i did wind up getting cited for passing over a solid yellow, not for speeding tho :D best quote from the cop tho! "you were hauling ass!! i had to work to catch you" and he was defiantly looking for you reggie he made all the other guys pull over and looked at their plates to find the one he was looking for which i assume was yours. that guy came out of no where tho, i kept checking my mirror to see how far back u were then i check one time and i just see a black car and knew instantly it was a po po so i just started pulling over. oh well, looks like Mr. Ticket gets some more business :D

As long as your ok its all good Brian. It was crazy seeing you and your bike on the side of the road like that. I never seen that in person before. Glad your ok though. That bush saved you and your bike from falling all the way down that hill.
Reggie, that was some shit straight out of movie, to out smart the cops. Bold move.
Lots of mishaps, but overall it was a fun ride. Lets take it easy next time.

Yea he got the ticket for crossing the double yellow, but not for speeding. You did good to out do that copper. lol...Lets take it easy next time.
|
Im glad it(the citation) was NOT for speeding. And Yes, I crossed that double yellow also, right after he did. I believed the copper-dude saw me, as well. So I bailed . Sorry I left ya'll. It's just, I don't du copper's and/or "tickets", well. And you Eazy, offer a good suggestion: "take it "eazy" next time". EAZY- like EAZYMEEZY

Got a ride for anyone interested in going. I will be going to Latigo Canyon Road. It's in Malibu I think. Went there on an MG ride this past weekend and knew that I had to hit it on the bike. If anyone would like to go hit me up. It will have to be on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday.

What was going through my mind?
After the cop went around a blind corner ahead of me, in HOT pursuit of D, I busted a U, and this song came into my head- and the gixxer responded, admirably . It was like, "we" were ONE.

I'd be interested in making that run; because I truly need to improve my canyon riding skills. For me it would have to be on a Monday or Tuesday and I would need to plan it a week in advance, so I can situate my absence from work.
Missed ya on the ride yesterday. Minus the few mishaps, it was a very good ride. I liked that route and want to do it again.
Long for us LA folks though. For Alex (evoalex) & I it was 430 miles.

haha, reggie and i passed this slow ass car on this long straight that still had a solid yellow line for some reason. and i was just going and going about a buck 20 everyonce and a while i would check my mirror to see how far reggie was back then once i checked and just saw a black car and knew it was a cop instantly and started to pull over, but i guess he passed reggie to get to me and once he did reggie stopped and pulled a u turn and went back the other way so he didn't get stopped also. but when i saw that black car in my mirror this song came to mind
