hey but i heard the clutch wears out quicker when you use full synthetic. and i called burbank kawasaki today and the guy was like dont use synthetic till you reach 30k miles . Have you noticed any problems while using full synthetic? Thanks for the feedback.

Dude! . . . If your engine is beyond 2500 miles, full synt. is fine! If the bottle says for "motorcycles" or says "4T", that oil will NOT hurt clutch plates or anything else. It is formulated for MOTO use. Synth. is good for keeping the engine temperature down as well. I use Mobil 1 full synthetic for Motorcycles(4T, 10/40) and it works just fine.
But, if running full synthetic gives you an un-easy feeling, leave it the hell alone, and run a standard 4T 10/40 like: Valvoline, Maxima, Repsol, Motorex or Motul, or something else with a reputable name. That way, you can't blame synthetic oil if something f's up with your engine.
No one NEEDS synthetic motor oil, to my knowledge- it's just nice to run, if you got the bucks to buy it. Consider it a luxury- like a rich mans' engine oil, or a racing teams' preference because they got a BIG "bag o' dough" to play with, from the BIG sponsors that want that bike to WIN!
Regular 4T oil is cool man -save your money for your next set o' tires, or somethin'.

The word among long time riders is that they will only pull over the slowest one if its one cop...after all, they can only pull over one at a time. In a group ride, I'm not pulling over until they call ME out specifically...but in a group I try to not be the last guy also :)

I'm taking my plate off again...just in case.

But they have a hard-on for sportbikes and that's all that matters...ride at your own risk. Not too many places to run to/from in the middle of nowhere and better hope there's no copter also.

Regarding OIL...take it from me, who learned about synthetic/natural oils because of its applications in refrigeration/air conditioning (more elaborate and detailed than engine use)...synthetic lasts longer, holds its properties longer, and has NO consequences like what you read about from people who 'think' and 'heard' this or that. its all BS...if you change it every 3 months/3000 miles, you dont need to go synthetic but if you go longer (which is ok) and ride hard (put heat in the engine from hard riding) I'd go synthetic.

if your clutch uses motor oil, i recommend synthetic cus those tend to break down the oil faster...and you can also feel it eventually when the oil is broken down when you shift.

There's a lot of people who don't know crap about cars at car dealerships and usually dont know crap about bikes at bike dealerships...its the way it goes. google, read, and learn and trust me, you'll see things my way...synthetic is better with no consequence but not worth it if you do frequent oil changes or ride to bike nights only.

Actually full synthetic helps out on the long run, especially if you are running the bike hard and expect to keep it for more than a couple years.

Read this and then decide what you want to do.

One more point I need to make regarding Moto engine oils: If the bike/engine has less than 1500 miles on it, DON'T use synthetic oil- DO NOT DO IT !! The piston rings WILL seat better, on newer engine, with natural dino oil, AND SEVERAL OIL CHANGES. When the rings SEAT well and good, that WILL PRODUCE FULL and TIGHT compression, in the combustion chamber, which WILL inturn produce the MAXIMUM intended HP from your engine. So let dino oil do the job until at least 1500 miles, then, go synthetic anytime afterwards, to preserve and protect ALL that horsepower you have developed and nurtured. Your engine WILL perform like a STRONG champion race horse, with PLENTY of POWER, when you ask for "the power".

Yea it was funny as I'm walking out I hear someone yelling my name. I didn't expect to see you there. It was cool bumping into you though, sucks you can't make it tomorrow. See you next time, either at Valley view or a ride.

I told Dylan that Nick and I will probably meet him at the Chevron gas station at like 9:00 or so. Nick is meeting me at my place around 8:30. So see everyone tomorrow. I'll get the Go Pro camera ready tonight for tomorrow.

Just got in. . . .5:30pm

Don't take that U-ee "pa -pa- pa-pa -personal" . I ain't got time for NO copper-dude, puttin' my a$$ in the system . I hope Dylan did NOT get, what I thought I was gonna get . 'Cause I boosted the same slow ass van D did. So, I decided, I did not need ANY more drama TODAY! I just wanna shower, drink a couple of "cold ones", and prepare my ass for WORK, 6a.m in the morning. That was too close for comfort .

I'm tired. Peace ya'll.
