I'm cool with either everyone from SD meeting in SD and then riding to meet the LA riders (or vice versa) or everyone meeting in one place between LA and SD.
What's a good midway point? Oceanside? San Clemente?

for those in SD that know, do we have to take the freeway up to get past Camp Pendleton? In case it's something I should add to my practice list

Yeah the freeway is the fastest way. Highway riding is the easiest kind of riding, truthfully...it has the least amount of stop-n-go riding.
So San Clemente sounds good to me. If that's the place for us all to meet, I'd be happy to meet up with the SD people further South then ride up there. I'm right outside of downtown SD

I live in Penasquitos, right by the 15 and 56 Fwys.
You guys can come up and we can ride the 56 out to the 5. We can also ride up the coast for a bit after we get off the 56, Del Mar's a little congested on the weekends but the traffic afterwards isn't too bad
We can meet somewhere along the 5 also if you guys don't want to take the 15 up

Take the 210 to 57 south, I'll meet you in San Dimas. We can meet with Live2ride, then we'll all head up to San Clemente together.
Live2ride, u cool with this?

I'm good with what ever time, let's see if we can all be at San Clemente by 9:30am to meet with SD group. So my guess for us LA area, we should meet by 8-830 and ride together to San Clemente, cool?

Im in Mission Viejo.... about 15 min north of San Clemente. I can meet up with you guys right off the 5 frwy. in Mission Viejo cause you will go through MV anyways. You should exit La Paz rd. from 5 frwy south. and meet me at the 76 station right there. Just let me know what time you all will be there and if that works for you.

That's way out for me, I could probably meet you guys at the 5 and 76 junction. What do you think? Just need to setup a place and time to meet there.
