LEDs Behind Ram Air Screen?
Has anyone placed LEDs behind the Ram Air screen? Will this spoil the air? If you have done it, can you post pics. I am thinking of doing this on my 07 10R and would like to see how it will look and know how it was done.

I've put them in the ram air on an 06 R6, a 08 Busa, a 99 GSXR 600, a 2000 busa, and more I forget about. I don't hurt it. Make sure you mount the lights securely! I usually drill a hole near the bottom of the ram air horn to run the wire through. Next I always drill holes for mounting screws, and use lock nuts on those screws. Put a little silicone around the wire and your good.

I mounted that one up top. There is another light just above the fender hidden. The front nose light is also red. 1198 bulb colored from autozone 1.99.

i would have to see a better picture of it maybe one during the day without the lights on... i used to work on a lot of the cockpit instruments on f-14s and f/a-18s and from what i can see in those pix it looks a lot like what we used on the jets just simple clear plastics with lights behind paint it all and scrape off what you want illuminated... but like i said i cant really tell from the pix you have...
