Stolen!!

I was talking with a friend today in Winchester VA (west of Washington DC) and his 04 R6 and 07 ZX6-R were stolen. In the middle of the night from the parking lot of his apartment complex. The front wheels were locked so they must have picked them up and loaded in truck.
The kawi is black, stock, virtually mint
the r6 has gytr pipe, ebay signals, silver Liimited ed.

PM me if you see anything strange with these parts being sold.

just curious... what kinda lock was being used?... you said the front wheels were locked together... did he have the bikes locked to anything as well?.. like a pole or something?...

funny thing is they were gone for a week in SC and nothing happened to them. they come to NY regularly with no problems.

so it was just the steering head lock...

everybody likes the light weight of these current bikes... but unfortunately... that is one of the down falls... these bikes are very easy to pick up... always lock your bike to another object when possible...

hope your buddy's had insurance..

THAT really sucks man . Lesson learned and it is a hard deal .

I hope and pray that the human garbage that lifted those bikes happen to take them for a blast down the road and end up in the ditch as road pizza .
What goes around , eventually comes around , for that type of scum .

It's just unfortunate they didn't see the barrel of a 12 gauge shotgun as they were loading them up .

I can't imagine walking out and not seeing my bikes.

Not to sound like a horses a$$, but 2 beautiful bikes in an apt complex with just handlebar locks and no insurance?

Sh!t that sucks! I really hope the cops find the bikes before they get choped. But for real why didn't he have insurance on them if he left them outside?

Two at one time huh! .., their gone for good mate, Parts doners , plus the theives knew where your buddy lived or at least what he had, so probably My guess is local bikers stole them both purely for the parts.

Sucks that both bikes got stolen but at the same time you've gotta be a retard not to have your bikes insured. If you've got an older bike then I can understand having PLPD on it but two new/newer bikes that's just plain stupid in my opinion.

He should have at least put loJack or an alarm system on both bikes seeings how he didn't have them insured and lives in an apartment. Sorry if my comments sound negative or rude but come on lets be honest he was asking for it.

Good lesson for new bikers to get insurance as soon as they get a bike.
