Holy Shit, One of those "I wish I'd had a camera" moments
Riding hard with a 911 and a 2008 SKYLINE GTR! Holy fuck, I didn't know there were any GTRs in the United States, let alone Austin Texas yet, I wish I had a camera mounted to my bike, all my friends are like yeah right. !!!
Anyone else had a similar experience with no camera to capture the action?

the skyline is out in southern california i've yet to drive my friends dad's but let me tell u its pretty refined feels a little different compared to earlier GTRs(interior wise and as a passenger) but it pays subtle respects...idk i dont dig them that much though i prefer the R32GT-S

I don't really like them too much due to all the fan boy over hype on the internet, but seeing one and riding with one in person is so much different. was a total ego booster because I was hanging with him in the twisties but I'm sure he didn't want to drive it to the edge.. that would be a fun write off

my story isnt quite as good as yours, but I got my license 2 weeks ago, my first actual road trip I was at a redlight next to a dodge viper, no cops, and the road was empty and straighttttttt.

yep... have one of those..
fall 2000.. friend and i are at willow springs (big track).. WSMC saturday practice sessions in the morning.. coming out of the right hand turn 2... we're doing about 100 mph.. start accelerating down towards the uphill left handed turn 3... and we get SMOKED around the outside by two riders.. and i mean SMOKED!...
now the best part... i'm watching them go towards turn 3 and all of sudden their bikes went sideways.. completely... both rear-ends kicked so far to the right.. i thought they were gonna do 180's.. and then they disappeared up into three..
i had been out to that track many times for fun... been passed by chuck graves.. and some really fast guys.. but i had never seen anything like that.. it was crazy.. i almost missed my brake markers and crashed... my friend and i pitted after that lap.. we were speechless...
once in the pits... we hunted the bikes down... when we found them.. the two australians looked up and said " hey mates.. how's it goin'?...
turns out to be Anthony Gobert and his brother breaking in bone stock R-6's for the upcoming AMA series.. we chatted for a bit... turned out they like to mess around like that together.. from growing up in motocross together.. then we had to get ready for the next session...
we hear the term "backing it in to a turn".. and i've seen it from track-side.. but seeing it from that point of view... good god man.. it was AWESOME!... wish i had a helmet cam.. or something...
good times..

Murphy's law, it always happens, when your camera is at home.

Nice
I saw one here in Georgia with Nissan dealer tags on it.
Pretty sweet, I want to own one in about 5 years when they come down in price (if ever).

Know the feeling the day I passed a riderless bike on the inside of a turn at a trackday. Where was the bloody camera.
