Hi I just got a 94 zx6 (first bike) and im trying to fix it up. The bike has been sitting for a year. It has 53,000 kms, and needs some work so I was thinking of getting a new engine. The engine cover is cracked and needs to be replaced. The clutch cover is leaking so I think that needs to be replaced as well. The exhaust too maybe.
My question is how much do you realistically think it would cost me to get my bike running in good condition? I know there isn't enough information to go on but I'm just looking for a ballpark figure.
Also, anyone know where I would be able to find a engine for my bike or what other engines would be compatible with my bike? around how much?
If anyone lives around toronto and knows of any reliable garages that do good work and won't rob you, the help would be much appreciated. Thank you
