400 Mile Dealer Service?

Hey

Proud owner of a 08 ZX6R. What should I expect at my first 400 mile dealer full service appointment? And how much is it gonna cost me? If I go elsewhere will it void my warranty? What do you guys think? Should I take the bike to the dealer or find a better deal on the price? I live in Florida, motrocycle heaven if you ask me, so I have many options to have my bike serviced. Competition is fierce here, so many shops, so many prices. Im over my head. Let me know thanks!

I don't know about your bike, but for my ZX10 the 400 mile was a glorified oil change... shouldn't cost much. It should say in the back of your manual exactly what needs to be checked, changed and adjusted at every service. I would start building a relationship with whoever you want to work with the most, if it's a certified Kawi shop all the better. It should tell you what your options are in your warranty paperwork.

Thanks! Definitely check your manual, because I may or may not be right about that.

oil change, clean and lube chain, fluid level check, make adjustments, tighten bolts, and make sure it runs right. that's about it...
