well i took my old 03 636 to the track today. ran my best time ever on horsepower. 1.59 60ft., 4.21 330ft., 6.41@111.17 mph and 10.00@135.71. not too bad for and old 636 all stock motor with 20,000+ miles on it.
Good times! What the hell is your secret?? Taking the '08 6r to the track tomorrow for the second time. First time my best was 8 seconds flat. I NEED to do better than that tomorrow.

Just a pipe and jumper mod. Starting line is really my biggest problem. I feel bad hammering on my clutch like that and I don't want a surprise look at the sky! I'm really looking forward to going -1 +2 but money is really tight right now. Once that's done I'll probably just get a strap for the strip. I'm more of a turning guy than a straight line guy but its def fun every once in a while!

You must be running 1/8 mile. Or else you aren't telling us of your heavily modded 6r.

6.4 is awesome for a 636. Whenever I go to the track the only things running those times are the 1100cc+ bikes that are modded. My best time on my 03 636 was a 6.8 all stock with just a pipe. I don't know how I did it but the closest I've gotten to that time since then was a 7.1

well thought i would update my personal best. all hp no nos. went 1.50 60ft., 4.04 330ft., 6.22@112.58 mph 1/8 mile and a 9.80@135.01 mph. this little bike just keeps suprising me. seat time is the key.
