I really want to run this thing in the 1/4. This is my first street bike but I'm no stranger to racing. Is there really a need for heating up the rear tire like some of these guys do? Seems kind of pointless to me unless your riding something with wheelie bars and slick. I think I'll just avoid the water and line it up and go. It has a 4-1 vance & hines. What do you think, 12.5's? I think they ran 12.1 stock, but that's with a pro rider that tests bikes for a living. I think keeping the run simple will be in my best interest.

stock wheelbase no need to do a burn out. maybe clean it off a little. the longer you go on your wheelbase is when you have to do a burnout.
