You know, people say I'm crazy for taking my bike to the dragstrip. I can't tell you how many times I've been told I'm going to get killed or hurt. Atleast at the dragstrip there are paramedics sitting there watching the race. They'll be rushing to your rescue before you even stop sliding. On the street you'll lay there and bleed and no one will be there to help you. I've seen it. When I was a teenager everyone in Chicago would go to the stockyards on Friday and Saturday night for illegal streetracing. My older bro would take me to watch. One night we saw a girl get clipped by a Mustang doing like 70mph. She flew like a rag doll. Everybody paniced and jumped in their rides and took off. We did too, we knew the cops had to be on the way. Did anyone help the girl? Not sure, we were to busy getting the hell out of there. Grow up and take it to the track. Plenty of tracks have grudge races with plenty of betting.

I'm pretty sure he knows the risks, but if he's willing to risk his and others life I can still onyl think of OTHER suggestions like

running a hustle at the drag track, or just simply betting on races between yourself and others at the track.

GLD, Great Lakes Dragaway has "Real Street Drags", in which there is no times or mph on the board... its simply old school street racing but still in the safety of the strip.

either way, KEEP IT ON THE TRACK PLEASE. You may be in Indiana and I'm in Wisconsin, but overall you help to keep the "bad image" that surrounds sportbike riders that we are a bunch of reckless idiots that all deserve tickets and our bikes towed. While I'm out with my wife on the back I don't want to come across you and your buddies racing down the street when you could have been on the track.

sorry bud...........

If your gonna street race. make sure u do the following. 1. check the road condition. 2. no traffic whatsoever 3. helmet 4. NO CROWDS/SPECTATORS 5. You see the red and blue lights, don't stop ;)

MY SUGGESTIONS FOR DRAG RACING ARE AS FOLLOWS:
stretch her as far as your pockets will allow
good clutch
drag tire
strap the front
wear leathers
rev it hard
dump the clutch
shift fast and hang on...

and if you want, you can use brakes at the end...
