Anyone getting a new bike in 2010
Im going to make some room in the garage for a 04-06 yamaha R1. Its my favorite bike. Amanda is taking the ZX6 and the 06 gsxr will be a track bike, and the R1 will be my daily driver. Im keeping the 250 around in case gas goes stupid again.

I might get a ZX-6 or a 250R sometime next year. I’m still keeping my 1990 ZX6D1.

Keeping mine. May add another in the next couple of years. We'll see. There are some nice ones out there and coming out in the next six months or so. Selection sucks doesn't it? We have some wicked bikes to choose from these days.

The 04-06 yami R1 is a F***ing monster man! I put a full graves exhaust on my buddies 05 as well as a pc3, K&N airfilter, and a 520 chain and sprocket conversion kit. Once tuned, it now has a hard time keeping the front tire on the ground with stock gearing in the first 4 gears. I never heard a 1000cc engine rev so fast in my life! The bike is actually a bit on the violent side. The funny part is my buddy who owns the bike, weighs 150 pounds! Lol. I am a kawi guy, but I would definetly buy that year R1!
As to your thread, I will be getting a litre bike, just not till I turn 25. I am 24 now, so I will put one more year on my 07 zx6r. I am hoping kawi does a facelift on the 2011 zx10r.

I thought they stopped all motorcycle production after the 03 ZX-9r. I mean, how do you improve at that?
Bought mine with 7K on her in 2008. She now has 27K and by this time next year, she'll probably be at 47K. Still no need to look around.

Im looking for a second bike. That way I have a bike I can ride when I am working on another one. But cash is tight right now so who knows when it will happen.
I hear the 2010 10r is nice as hell with the new improvements though

Just a heads up. I would wait on the 2012 ZX10. From what im hearing kawasaki is planning on going for broke on their 2012. Cross plain crank and all. I hear yah on the ZX6 getting small. Me and the boyz were out riding last night, and my buddy wanted to ride my ZX6. He has the 08 ZX10. I thought he was kidding, needless to say it was a good night. Man i know i told the wife no more liter bikes, but i neeeeeeeeeeeeed one. I want the 06 R1 but man is that ZX10 comfortable.

Sold my 2000 zx6r to my girlfriend and am in the process of picking up an 03 ZX6RR, hopefully the deal goes through and I get it, it's at a stupid low price from a dealership so cross your fingers, by 2010 I should have a new-to-me Kawi!

Wait, this is 2009, right? You're telling someone to wait till 2012 when you're thread asks who's buying a bike in 2010?
Why would anyone wait that long when the current 10 is awesome? And what if the 2012 isn't what you say it will be? Although a cross plain crank, woowee!
