Newb from East TN

Like the title states I am new and am located in the same county as the Tail of the Dragon.
I have been lurking/searching and decided to finally join.
I picked up my first sportbike - a 2005 Ninja zx6r 636 – almost 3 months ago and have loved every minute of it. It had a Yoshimura RS-5 muffler and K&N air filter on it, along with Gator Skin covered seats and double bubble tinted windscreen. Other than that, it was stock. It had 4480 miles when i picked it up and now has about 7200 on the odometer. I don't know how some of these guys buy bikes and don't have the desire to ride them more often. The only thing that has deterred me from putting more miles on it has been the rain :D

Mods so far :
Clear Alternatives Integrated Taillight
Euro Front flush signals
Custom Fender Eliminator
Painted pegs and shifter assembly gunmetal
Fixed FI light
Michelin Pilot Power front tire to match the rear
Frame Sliders
Gunmetal bar ends
Custom brass swingarm spools
Future/Winter mods include:
White LED's in Instrument Cluster
Repaint of calipers (faded a bit)
Custom solo seat cowl
Cut muffler down 3" or so
Get seats recovered
5000k HID's

Anyways, here are a few pictures.
Before: The day I picked it up:

Seats: Cool, but don't really flow with the rest of the bike

Crooked exhaust and big signals

After: With integrated tail

Fender Eliminator with LED bolts

At the MotoGP in Indianapolis: A buddy an I went and trailered the bikes there.

Hopefully I can get more riding time in before the cold weather hits!

: Nah, thats where the horses sleep.

Thanks for the welcomes. I have been on everyday for about 3 months (even before I bought the bike) but I figured riding season was slowing down, and Ill be hanging out here more often. Might as well get my foot in the door now

I live in Maryville and work in Alcoa, just south of Knoxville. I live ~30 minutes from the Dragon . I have driven via car on it many times, but not the bike yet.
