just got out of hospital...
hi there guys.
havent been having such a good time lately.
i just got out of hospital, where i made a good recovery from a burst spleen and liver, a severely broken arm , bruised ribs and some broken teeth.
I was riding home on a twistie after having looked at a bike for my friend, i was alone on my bike and on the last corner of the road, in the middle of the road a farmer had spilled cow dung on the road, and not only a little dribble.
so when i saw that i started braking at the back and pulled my bike up from the curve. when i was straight i started braking in front but it didnt work, i slid in the shit anyways and i did a full 20meter slide and hit the sidepanel of the road.
i was going 70 KPH while entering the corner.
i was lucky that the car behind me stopped, because my arm was so broken that it was twisted under me. i had on full protection,( not leather but anyway good) and was taken to hospital with the air rescue helicopter, which was a good thing because i went in for an emergency op for my internal bleeds. they said if i would have even taken a few minutes longer, i couldve died...
oh yeah and the bike is also pretty smashed up. ill get some pics up as soon as i feel better!!

Its just good to have ya still around and talking and typing and all that good stuff. jeez though, that sounds like one hell of a crazy accident...
put up pictures of the bike. would like to see how it did after encurring a (?) shit storm. sorry, I had to...lol
if youre cool with it, would like to see pictures of how bruised up you are too.

ive only got a couple grazes and scars that you can see. but ill take pis of them anyway!
they actually but a huge bolt in my arm, going from the shoulder to my elbow... so i need some kinotherapy to regain the movement.
and for the bike, its not in such a bad state, it hit the sideplank aswell but otherwise, im happy it didnt flip!

That truly sucks brother, glad your out of the hospital.
i think there should be a law against leaving debri in the roads, it is bad where i live, same thing farmers leaving shit hay and all sorts of garbage in the road, I think the law should be the exact same as throwing garbage away on the highways, not only does it make that area ugly but also is hazardous to motor cycles, WE pay tax and insurance for quality streets, maybe you should sue the county for your spill?

AHA! well, heres the good news.
in my country, the commune is responsable to keep their roads clean.
tomorrow morning im going to the police station to be questioned about the accident and im going to state that i want to sue.
this will then go to the commune and the commune will finally sue the farmer.
ive spoken to a lawyer, and he says if the police took pictures of the site on the same day, and there werent any sings on the road that say farmers or bla bla, ill win 100percent.
if this isnt the case, itll be more tricky...

well the liver was rebuilt.
they had problems with my spleen, they had to isolate the part that was bleeding, so now that part is going to foul off and ill get rid of it somehow... i think that process has already started.. constant stomach aches and the runs is the outcome-.-

Sorry to hear of your crash, Liz. Hope the medical issues will work out over time and the legal stuff gets done, too.

Sheesh those pics look like it was a bad accident. Thank God you made it through. So who is covering all the damages and losses? I remember you saying your country has to keep the roads clean. I wasn't sure who was covering it. Let me know!
