Awesome bike. I love the zx7's. So you still thinking about going back the stock swing arm?

maybe, still undecided i dont understand how 6 " more on a swingarm will make it so hard to carve corners.i could see the 10+ extention. i am really waiting to get back in the U.S. and c for my self. i rode it around post(around 30 mph) and i noticed a differance but is it a differance or just the gap in riding its been 3 yrs since i rode last

Probably both, but more the stretch than the time off. Lengthening the wheelbase exponentially increases turn radius, as well as taking the rake and trail character the factory worked so hard to perfect and throwing it right out the window.

JBear thanks for saying that. after reading your post i thought of the short wheel base vs long wheel base turning radius and it the same thing basically on a smaller scale

The gixxer is faster. The reason everyone but Suzuki quit making 750 sport bikes years ago is because they all got tired of the GSXR 750's performance soundly tromping them in every way. Suzuki effectively killed off the 750 racing class by making a bike that was simply too good, and nobody else could touch it. It's too bad really, because the ZX7's are great bikes.

Yep, I’m having each time more trouble finding parts for my 1990 ZX-6 but they exist and can be bought. My bike is still running like new!
