Stolen!
My recently purchased (<2 weeks) 2006 ZX-6R in Plasma Blue was stolen from in front of my house in Denver, CO on July 21, 2009. It has a Yosh titanium slip-on, Puig Smoke Double Bubble windscreen, and flushmount signals. Plates start with 359 I believe. Just wondering if any of you guys in the area could keep an eye out for it. Thanks

Man, that sucks. I hope they find the bastards who stole it and take turns punching them in the throat. Keep an eye on eBay for parts for sale in your area.

I think one of the advantages of electric powered cars would be an alarm system that adds the body to the loop when armed. I'd like to think thieves and vandals (and the neighbor's muddy pawed cats) would find 53 kWh running through them to be a discouragement.

I was thinking about loading up the bike with a small amount of stable plastic explosive then triggering it when I find it stolen. Boy would they be in for a surprise.

Ya, well I'm hoping the insurance company appraises it high enough so I can get a replacement soon.
1st thing to go in it this time is LoJack. Right off the bat.

I use to have an alarm on an integra that i owned that has 2 air horns (like the ones truckers use) mounted right by the stereo head unit. The second the alarm went off the interior of that car became hell.

I imagined that happening, and my visual was hilarious
Great idea

I thought about that for years, only I was thinking of the roof by the dome light or something. The only thing that kept me from trying it was the off chance that something in the alarm could screw up one day and it could start going off a foot from my ear while driving down the road. Not likely, but didn't seem worth the risk at the time.

Ya, I just found a pic of the machine before she was taken from me. Looking into a ZX-6RR now. Hopefully that pans out.
