Well if anything the pulsating should be very noticable in the brake pedal and serve as an early warning. I have already experienced the feeling of the pulsating brake pedal in a moment of city traffic madness
and it's not some thing that can be missed. Seemed like a normal electromechanical reaction to rear wheel lockup.
